Is Anyone Else Excited for Guerrero vs Maidana???

I'm surprised I haven't seen many people mention this fight with it being about a month away. I expect an exciting action fight. I'm kinda 50/50 on picking a winner. I could see how Guerrero could be seen as the better boxer, but Maidana already has been in there with some of the top guys in the sport.

LOL, your blog fails Guerrero doesn't have the power to stop Maidana unless putting on 5 pounds really makes a difference to his muscles making him that much stronger. He couldn't stop Katsidis, what makes you think he'd stop someone who has never been stopped?

I don't think the move up is going to effect Guererro more than actually help him being he won't be cutting more to make Lightweight. He also doesn't necessarily NEED to make 5lbs more than making the weight limit (136-140). He's already coming in fight night close to the 150s, so the 140 move more than likely will be to his benefit. But Maidana won't be an easy task at all and quite possibly is his toughest fight to date.

Yeah it is a great fight, a clash of styles, a 50/50 fight. I thought Kats would have caused Guerrero problems but then I saw the size of Guerrero at the weight in.

How did that guy used to be a feather?

Will Maidana be able to impose him self on Guerrero physically?

Great jab, and movement from Guerrero, but Maidana's pressure could tell and he has dynamite in those two fists.
