What type of Boxer is Manny Pacquiao?

Briefly touched on this subject on another thread but what type of fighter would you say Manny Pacquiao is.

    Five options:

    Slugger: Like Foreman, Benn, Liston,

Swarmer: Like Greb, La Motta, Margarito JCC

Pure Boxer: Like Ali, Whitaker, Martinez

Boxer Puncher: Like Hearns, Louis, Donaire

Pacquiao can fight many different style and has change his style throughout his career.

He has been a Slugger, Swarmer, Boxer Puncher and a pure boxer.

So there is a fith category for fighters that don't fit into the mould and can fight all these styles

Unorthodox: Fighters such as Sugar Ray Robinson.

A good example of Pacquiao being a swarmer would be Barrera one.

Barrera could not get away and could not stop the onslaught.

When Pacquiao fought Oscar and Margarito, he was a pure boxers, letting his superior boxing ability show.

The Cotto fight and Marquez II Pacquiao was a boxer punher.

And Pacquiao was a Slugger against Hatton.

Pacquiao can and has fought all styles

        Poll coming.
He was a slugger, but didn't develop great finishing skills like a slugger should.

He's wasn't ever a swarmer. He doesn't do his best work at closer ranges let alone even know how to cut off a boxing ring. Swarmers usually know how to fire at moving targets.

He was not and is not a pure boxer, and Amir isn't one either.

        He's a boxer-PUNCHER, Amir is a boxer-puncher, and Sugar Ray Robinson is a BOXER-puncher.

            You sure about this?

IMO Pac is anything but a pure boxer.

Pac if any weakness is cutting the ring off. He heavily relies on angles and he is an underated counter puncher

I think his style is a mix of many of the options listed on the poll. Thats why his style is so hard to beat, thats why a certain fighter doesn't want to fight him.

I think people are underrating his ability to cut the ring off since he's had ****ty opponents since Cotto.

But I would not consider Pac ain't a good ring cutter at all.
