The last 5 fights on his resume are most certainly stronger name than that of the last 5 for Khan. I'll say it again.....Bradley has earned this pay day as much as anybody based on his competition.
Maidana was Khan's mandatory and everybody wanted to see that fight just to see how Khan stood up against the first puncher he had fought since Prescott had knocked him out.Bradley was still calling Khan out and claiming him as his next opponent just earlier this year.If he was looking for other fights, why still bring up Khan's name? Why not just be honest and say that I'm more interested in fights that guarantee me the type of money that a fight with Khan never would?
Bradley hasn't earned anything. There is one man in his divison that he has failed to fight, that alot of others happen to think is the best within the divison. And Khan's best wins are more than comparable - arguably even better - than Bradley's best wins at the weight class. There was no clear-cut ruler of the division, and this is usually settled by the two best fighting one another to establish who is the best in the division.

There is absolutely no risk in Bradley losing to somebody like Pacquiao.Absolutely no risk at all. He'll lose his undefeated record but get paid alot of money and suffer a loss to an ATG in a fight nobody gave him a chance in.In Khan,he's involved in a 50/50-type fight in which he's being paid good money, but nowhere near the amount he'd get for getting beaten by Pacquiao. And a loss against Khan would kill any remote chance of fighting somebody like Pacquiao.
And it's no guarantee that Bradley will even fight Pacquiao.

What if everyone did a Bradley and just sat on the sidelines on the off chance they would get a shot at Pac or Floyd. Imagine no one in the top 10 from 135 to 160 fighting at all.
The problem is that Khan and Pac wont fight cos they have the same trainer, otherwsie Arum could tell Bradley if you want pac you have to fight and beat Khan. Of course ARum wont get money from that fight so wont happen.
Its all pretty ****ed up, but really Bradley should earn at shot at the big 2 and at least beat someone in the top 3 at 140 or 147.

He was making more than Bradley's made 10 fights ago.
It looks bad on him that he talked about Khan ducking him and then did the same thing, but he's aiming at fighting the two best guys.Originally posted by JAB5239 View PostPersonally, I like watching Bradley fight. He's fought good competition overall and he's entertaining most of the time. How can that be bad for boxing? He's no different than any other fighter looking for a mega payday so you really can't blame him.
It's funny how quickly things change isn't it? Khan beats a shot, no chance Judah and suddenly he's the greatest warrior in boxing, even though he has straight out refused to even consider any rematch with Prescott; the man who knocked him cold in one round and yet a guy who has come up the hard way, taken all the hard fights, won all of them and taken on risky champions and top ranked contenders that so far everyone has wanted him to fight or needed him to fight to be considered the best, and he's the whole reason boxing is a disgrace?
For a guy with no backing, little crowd etc, he's sure done ok by my standards. Willing to travel to the other fighters hometown to fight, willing to take on any of the other champs, apart from Khan right now because he's trying to get another bigger fight......
From where I'm sitting he's everything that's right with boxing. He's not taking on 40 year old after 40 year old. He's not taking on shot name fighter after shot name fighter, all of whom have been losing their most recent fights and so far he's been willing to take on each and every big test that he's needed to take.
Why hasn't Khan taken the Prescott rematch? He got sparked in one round. The first thing he should be doing, according to Khan's fans reasoning as relates to Bradley, would be to rematch Prescott.
It's a sad day when people think a guy like Bradley is the scourge of boxing.

Whats the phrase? Be careful what you wish for.
If he gets Manny he could be in for a real battering. But I suppose he just wants to cash out and feed the family. I suppose 2+ million doesn't buy much food these days!
I honestly think he would have to take less than was offered by Khan to get the Manny fight. After he gets destroyed there where does he go.
Not knowing a lot about Bradley before joining this forum I always heard he takes on all comers, ducks nobody!
Well if you believe you are the best at 140 fight the only other fighter considered to be in the conversation of the best at 140. He clearly doesn't believe he is. So if you don't believe you are the best at 140 why move up to 147 to fight Manny? Getting knocked out by Manny and coming crawling back to 140 knowing Khan will have moved up to 147 and allowing Bradley to mop up whats left at 140. That is what I see happening.
If he fights some scrub as his optional defense and then fights Manny will he be stripped?

Bradley/Mayweather types will spell the death of boxing. If their attitudes catch on to a larger scale, and when alot more of the best aren't fighting each other because they want to protect their zero and market potential, fans will just go off to MMA where the best are forced to fight each other.
