maidana never ko'ed ortiz. ortiz lost because of his lack of heart. he was winning that fight very clearly. difference betw. the two fights is ortiz was clearly stronger against berto and he refused to quit. wasnt like berto didnt catch him really good on a few occasions.

Ortiz's win, because he moved up in weight and beat the crap out of the best Welterweight not named Pacquiao or Mayweather. Plus he was underdog and had big question marks over his heart. Plus it was his first proper world title fight.

Zab beat witter when he was a prospect . Kotelnik beat him when he was better seasoned against better opposition .Judah shouldn't get the same credit as Kotelnik and Bradley did. Still any one who can beat or at worse draw / cause problems for those kinds of fighter certainly isn't average.

Up until he fought zab he didn't fight anyone of note so he wasn't ready then and was a last minute replacement . Are you trying to tell me that Witter was a better fighter when he fought zab than when he fought kotelnik and Bradley? Bull**** , the local fights were prior to judah . He started to campaign adainst Euro contenders (miles better than oppsition before zab) and a tough gatekeeper in ndou.Then Kotelnik . That seasoning paid off and he won a world title . I suggest you watch the fights instead of making assumptions because I have. To say that the witter that fought zab "was more prime" than the one who faced kotenik is laughable just because zab got him sooner. He was a prospect then!
