Hernan "Tyson" Marquez (31-2, 24KOs), who retained his World Boxing Association (WBA) flyweight title on July 2, will return very quickly. According to reports in Mexico, Marquez will defend his title on August 31 against Japanese boxer Tomonobu Shimizu (18-3-1, 9KOs) at the Nihon Budokan in Tokyo. Marquez is probably the best talent at flyweight and is the man to beat. He has grown to become an excellent counter puncher, has very good power and will never back down.
