  • [QUOTE=-Kev-;10895509]It's not a duck, a duck is if you're absolutely petrified of somebody, and you're not aiming for something bigger and better. Bradley wants the bigger and better fish. He wants the sharks, he wants to swim in the ocean, Amir Khan is a tadpole in a pond.[\QUOTE]

So, you're saying a loss is a loss and it's better to cash out?

    That's a real fighting spirit.

        I seriously doubt that.

same reason people **** on pac & floyd for making money fights instead of challenges & meaningful fights.

so basically, you are enabling this sick trend of money first fighters. believe it or not, this new breed of self-entitled boxers are killing boxing. how the hell does a prospect/contender with a decent resume and NO fanbase deserve a million dollar pay day???

khan is on the same boat as tim achievement-wise, but the major difference is that khan justifies his paycheck with his ability to draw. there is no way that tim can justify a million dollar payday... it just doesnt make business sense.

why on earth would floyd or pac share their money with a guy that doesnt bring anything to the table??? like floyd says: "make it make sense"

But, how you going to from "quit running Khan"(or words to that effect) to pretty much saying I'm not going to fight Khan after getting offered 50/50 on all accounts even UK PPV.

I understand the reason to want to fight Floyd and Pac. But, he just turned down a career high payday.

And, reading these comments that he just made. There's only one other conclusion and is that he ducked Khan. This is just like the whole Mayweather and Margarito thing. Is a duck, there's no sugar coating it. No matter what excuses are brought up. This is a duck. And, I'm highly disappointed in Bradley. Because, I never thought he would pull a move like this. That's why I'm a huge fan. But, damn....
Bradley already said months ago that if he lost to Khan he would be out of the big money fights (and this is after he called Khan out on tv) , that alone should have showed his fans that he wasnt too confident about beating Khan in the first place. Even if he felt that way he should have kept it to himself, its plain as day that hes nervous of Khan and never actually wanted the fight. Even with the belts he has Bradley is the clown of his division and he made himself look that way.

Lol, sadly you are very wrong here dude.

Bradley is actually a very small draw in the US. Bradley Alexander sold less than a thousand tickets, infact it was around 500 only. It also lost money for HBO.

Khan-Zab according to ESPN, has confirmed sales of over 7,000, majority of which were there for Khan. And Khan-Maidana had sales of over 4,000-3,000. Khan has also higher viewship than Bradley IN THE US.

And, ultimately it doesn't matter, because a dollar is a dollar, you think anyone cares where it comes from? Hell no. And Khan is way bigger than Bradley.

But I will admit, Bradley deserves to be bigger than he is at the moment, it's a little unfair how he barely has any fans.

exactly... floyd is ALREADY buttering up and prepping his UK fanbase.

Everybody wants to **** on bradley bc he is acting like a b*tch...
When Khan beat Malignaggi he said let Alexander/Bradley face off (check) and let Khan and Maidana fight (check) and the winners can face each other... but that didnt happen. Bradley called out Khan said hey I have a fight on July 23rd "stop running Khan" and then bailed out of that fight. Then Kellerman asks Khan about Bradley and he says I have a December fight, but Bradley is scared. And Bradley proves just that.

Now Floyd fights in September and Pac in November that means both fighters arent fighting until atleast March/April after that, so why cant Bradley fight in December? Is he busy? I dont understand, take your fight with Khan in December and then take a fight with Pacman mid 2012, whats so hard about that? He's acting like he's going to get a fight in January or February. Not happening, he's ducking plain and simple. A loss to Khan will end him.

Tim Bradley- 'I dont care what people think, I'm eating over here...bash me all you want'

Statements like this are hardly going to endear him to anyone, so I think you can argue that it is fair.
