It's a "duck" because he doesn't want to fight Khan because he risks an, at least, $5million dollar pay day guaranteed, not including PPV rev. If he loses to Khan, not only does he miss out on a chance to beat Pacquiao and get all the money he can get form a Pac fight, he can also forget about a Floyd fight for a long time, and probably forever, given Floyd's age and probably close to retirement.

So really, why risk all of that? All of these people talking shit, like if THEY would risk that. Don't EVER ask some one to do, some thing you would never do yourself. I know every one who is in this thread criticizing Bradley's moves, would do exactly what he's doing, cause I know I would. If he beats Khan, he'd still get Pacquiao, and beating Pacquiao, he'd still get Mayweather. Okay, cool, WHAT IF HE DOESN'T!? He loses out on not only one huge pay day, but another potential humongous pay day. Beating Pacquiao, would make his name sky rocket in to outerspace, and get him a pretty good bargaining chip against Floyd, to get a decent cut of the pie. "I beat Manny Pacquiao, I deserve at least 60-40 or 65-35" whatever. It's just so much more to it that just calling him a ducker. It;s like a chess game, if you really wanna win, you gotta take control of the center and think 10 steps ahead. Bradley is taking control of the center, and thinking 10 steps ahead, to knock down that king.

The reason Bradley is having contract issues is because he owes Shaw ONE MORE FIGHT. Shaw wanted that fight to be Khan, Bradley on the otherhand wanted someone easier.

The reason Bradley is having contract issues is because he ducked Khan. To suggest Bradley is not fighting Khan because of contract issues is so dumb and ignorant, when you consider this is a comments thread for an article in which Bradley repeats he does not want to fight Khan.

How many times does Bradley have to say he does not want to fight Khan? How many times does he say he is afraid of losing to him? Man, this very thread is comments thread for Bradley saying this! My god some of you are deluded
        .

To the left with you dude. LMAO!!!!!!!!

          Kev:

There is no way Bradley makes $5 mil for a pac fight. I mean $3 maybe, that being generous.

Now he has to fight the lawsuit, then sign with TR, fight on the undercard and then maybe get a shot at Manny if the floyd fight isn't made.

Seems like the cash and exposure, win or lose against khan, was the better move. On the other hand if you are going to lose either way (and I think he does) then get $3 mil for an a$$ whoppin from Manny rather than $1.4 for a Khan a$$ whippin.
I think Khan took advantage of Bradley's problems and called him out knowing Bradley was not able to fight. I don't know if I can find the post, but there's a lot posts where I was bashing Bradley for not taking the Khan fight at first, when I had no idea of what was going on. And me not liking Bradley in the first place, made my bashing even worse. Soon as I found out what was going on with Bradley and his contract and what he was trying to do, I was like hold up, wait a minute, let me refrain all the shit I talked, Bradley is making a SMART career move right here and I see what he's doing.

              I'd say 3-4, 5 if he's plays his position but realistically 3 or 4.

Any one who fights Pacquiao or Mayweather will make a minimum of $5mill be it guaranteed or with PPV revenue in total. I think Ortiz is guaranteed a really low amount of money, but watch him make like at least $5mill when it's all set and done.

Where the hell are you getting those numbers from? His track record of exciting fights? His track record of vast PPV sales? His enormous previous gate takings? His name outside of hardcore boxing circles?

The guy brings jack schmitt to the table and if he does get a fight what do you think they are gonna do, offer him millions for nearly proving himself as the best guy @140 pounds when there is a marquee name at 140 shouting for a fight with him?

                  It doesnt add up.

I wouldn't say smart because the landscape for tim is changing quickly. No ross greenberg at HBO anymore so the big paydays for non draws like him and berto is over. He'd have to sign with TR for a Pac fight and Bob can basically **** Tim becuase he can't draw. If he ever does fight Khan he'll be like beggin a$$ Shane Mosley was with floyd. Floyd made him pay for ducking him. Embrassaed him before the fight while making 5-6 times what he made. Think Khan wont do the same?
