  • The best thing about Mayweather-Manny will be them leaving this concha without a dance partner. HBO are pissed with him, he can't draw to save his life so I really hope he fades. He makes an absolute mockery of the term "champion".

      Wheres the inactivity....LOL.

1 fight at 140lbs in 2 years that is inactivity.

Averaging 1 fight a year since 2009 again that is inactivity.

Its far from set in stone that he will be fighting again this year.

He can't fight Pac until next year anyway, so what's to stop him fighting Khan this year, other than thinking he'd lose?????

And if Pac gives a damn for his own credibility, he won't fight Bradley, unless Bradley fights and beats Khan first.

And no, I wouldn't do what Bradley is doing. No way.
Come on,anybody is going to take a better money offer I don't care if it's boxing basketball football or just ya everyday job..So you saying you would not do the same thing is a bit unbelievable..Bradley will fight again this yr a tune up(he would have needed a tune up before fighting Khan as well)then on to try to get the fight with Pac,which is a bigger and more lucrative fight no matter how ya slice it..What's different from Floyd fighting Ortiz??Bradley is far more proven then Ortiz in the overall picture of it..So if I'm Bradley and I see a dude who quit in the ring against a b+ kinda fighter at best and he is getting a 5 mill dollar payday you don't think I'm gonna want to go that way as well??I'm not saying it's right but it's the state of boxing right now..You have Berto and Khan fighting guys like Mcfluury Paulie M Hernandez and getting 1.25 mill for it..Can you really blame Bradley for trying to get paid??

        • Bradley is ruining his career. Dude has fought only 3 times in the last 18 months...And now he wants to sit around and wait till 2012 in hopes of getting a Floyd/Pac fight. Is he ******ed?

If Bradley was really trying to get a major fight he should be doing what Khan is doing. Just fight the best guys out there and eventually people will start taking notice. Khan just drew 7k+ fans in only his second fight in Vegas. He's becoming a star. If Tim Bradley continues to stay inactive he's going to just slowly fade away.

Doesn't need to be the same situation .Just and example that shows your logic doesn't work

                What offer????

And needing a tune-up before he fights Khan???? Why on earth???

I see your point that he wants a big pay day, that's fine. The only problem is that he was the one calling Khan out in the first place, and then he decides not to take the fight! Plus its not like he was going to make pennies in the fight, he was offered a fair deal.

No, most average at least two. For a top fighter under 30 to go 11 months or more without a fight is very unusual, and for them to average a fight per year in their own division for three years is even more unusual.

But Mosley performed very poorly after the first two rounds and looked every year of his age. And Mosley was never a big draw on his own. His next fight was hardly watched by anyone. And Berto held a title and Mosley didn't. 50/50 in those circumstances seems fair to me.
Mosley had the name and tbh Berto is not a draw either so Mosley would have been the A-side to that event..Mosley got beat by the top fighter in the sport not by a bum..55/45 would have been good or 60/40 which was their agreed upon pruse split before Berto pulled out the first time around..But once again he knew he could get 1.25 fighting a Hernandez so why risk losing to Mosley...
