Floyd will lose his 0 soon

I don't know why, but I have this weird feeling that he's kissing that 0 good-bye and it will happen soon. He's 34 yeard old and very inactive.

Not trying to make excuses for him but, you cannot take one fight a year and expect to be able to compete at the top of your game, something will go...reflexes, timing, speed or overall skills. Floyd can only blame himself if this happens.

any fighter that keeps fighting will lose, it happens to all fighters. But according to so called "boxing fans" loses dont mean anything...because most of the boxers have loses.

I was thinking the same thing. You can't be an older fighter and only fighting once every year and a half. Floyd either has to retire or be more active. Even if it's taking a tune up fight here and there against a scrub.

I agree, kinda. It just depends who it will be against. Ortiz? Pac? The guy after? One night or another, he will realize that he got old and will have to grind it out to win.

As soon as he does lose watch him start fighting 2-3 times a year until hes in his forties

I think Pac has the biggest shot at beating Floyd to be honest. Ortiz is too open for counters, and don't have the skills to outbox or outfight Floyd. Khan's chin is still somewhat questionable, he's got quick hands but looks pretty sloppy and off balance when he throws sometimes. Pac would fight at a pace Floyd has probably never ever fought at, and he will attack Floyd relentlessly. Floyd may get stopped for the first time against Pac.

Floyd is a great boxer though, very talented and gifted. If the long lay-off somehow don't affect him and shows up 100% then I can see him toy and embarass Pac since he seemed to have problems cutting off the ring against a non-slick, scared Mosley.

A lot of questions will get answered come Sept (Floyd vs Ortiz) Maybe we will know what to expect after the fight.

Don't worry he won't lose to Ortiz. The only person Floyd can lose to is Pacquiao. Floyd has enough power to get Ortiz and Khan to respect him, but I just don't think he could keep Manny off of him. Mayweather is a freak anyways, he is constantly in great shape because he is training even when he is on his long ass retirement type vacation.

Don't base your judgement in just one fight. Pac can cut off the ring pretty good if you watch his other fights or just for example in Mosley fight actually when the ref wrongly called the knockdown, Pac forgot his leg cramp, started cutting off the ring and beat the hell out of Mosley. Floyd has to be 100% to beat Pac and be prepared to the non stop high pace assault and don't expect any mercy after what he did (PED acussation).

Floyd has already admitted he will lose one day, but not any time soon. He feels right now like he can't be beaten. And usually, a fighter knows when he's going to lose. You hear them talking like, "This is a tough test", "Who ever wins, it'll be by knock out", etc, and they start talking about how they don't feel it in the gym anymore.

Last pics I saw of Floyd training, he looked pretty in to his training and looked very serious, also Floyd has recently talked about eating organic food "i've been eating these guys while eating junk food like Burger King, now i'm eating organic food, taking care of myself a lot better" and we all know Floyd has always took care of himself. He doesn't drink or smoke and I believe that because it is very hard to stay in shape like he does at this age, if you drink or don't take care of yourself.

So he will one day lose his 0, but not now. Plus, I want to see how he does against Ortiz, if he looks like he did against Marquez and Mosley, then there's nothing to worry about. I think when Floyd hits 36, that's when i'm really gonna worry about him losing his 0. If he fights Ortiz, Pacquiao, and Khan all before 36, he beats them. And I think he's gonna fight Pacquiao next, which he's gonna be 35, then he better fight Khan at the end of 2012 and just retire after that. Maybe one more fight at 160 for the WBC title, then retire.
