Check out my assessment with updates on the Bradley and Khan fight of who will 'win'.
Ignore the triangle theories in it lol.
I talk about them pre Alexander and post maidana I think. Updated a tiny bit y day.
Oh and I am not emotional at all. I am merely talking of a fighter who fought on Saturday and a planned fight, rather than a fight that may never happen at all in Mayweather and PAC like most.
I been said before Khan beat Maidana that Khan would be Bradley's toughest fight..He has things that will give Bradley tons of trouble in the ring..But Bradley also has things that will give Khan tons of trouble in the ring which is why everyone wants to see this fight..How everyone sees the fight playing out is how they see it..It's a matter of opinion ya know, but these two fighters are about as evenly match as you'll find around the sport imo..I pray we get to find out who is the better fighter and soon..
I don't disagree with anything your are posting, all I am saying is that I think the Comparisons of Resumes is closer then people want to admit
and i wasn't saying you was Emotional but I am seeing some fans in general might be overrating Khan right now after his performance, but that is common, people always tend to go crazy over a guy after a Impressive Win for a few days
I am not saying Khan has a much better resume, just better. I did think it was the same in some ways etc...
A lot of fans prior said Bradley was way ahead and it wasn't close. I can't think of the thread now but I argued it wasn't. I did agree Bradley was number 1, with two titles and the extra name. However now both have two titles and respectable names.
Back then in the other thread, I said it was 50/50, but if Khan has another tune up, Bradley is in trouble. khan is learning, almost from the basics with Roach.
As a teen in the 2004 olympics, I saw a fast kid with good workrate but that was it. 135 also and at 17 got a silver. Not bad.
As a pro at 135, he was big, speedy and had decent power. He lacked rounds, particularly 12 round experience which I was able to see for the first time live vs Gary St Claire. khan looks faster in real life indeed.
His flaw at 135, low hands which was pointed out post fight almost everytime by Barry mcguigan.
Then more flaws, getting caught and dropped. Offensively khan was good, but he was eager to engage.
Under Roach, he has slowly developed his arsenal. What is good is that Khan gets good sparring in the Us, no distractions and learns one thing a fight.
For paulie the jab was shown. Not much else though. But he dealt with a fast guy who used his feet.
For maidana he learnt to hold which he didn't do at 135. Also he got in body shots which paulie didn't get.
Vs Judah he has a right lead which he didn't have at all from my memory. Still needs work.
Also khan said they worked on the uppercut too.
Khan always had decent timing and reach, but his patience is good. He decisively beat Kotelnik using movement. It was awkward at times but he learnt that you can't always just go for it.
Khan as a fighter can lose, khan as a boxer has less chance of losing. Only a handful of people at 140 and 147 beat khan in my eyes. Assuming he improves at 147 also. His age is getting to that prime. He isn't going to beat Mayweather and PAC, but Ortiz and Bradley he has chances. They can beat him too.
The key to ya answer is when did Bradley face the fighters on his resume and when did Khan face the fighters on his resume...
Holt,Champion coming off a KO victory with tons of momentum going into his fight with Bradley..
Witter,Champion and was ranked the num 1 fighter in the div at the time..Bradley went to the UK to win this fight and was very green when he did it..
Alexander,Unified Champion coming off a fight in which I thought he lost..But none the less he is a unified Champion and a highly talented fighter..
Peterson,A young hungry fighter who was undefeated and tough..I don't agree that Ortiz beat him..TBH I thought Peterson beat Ortiz,I also want to point out he was the only one to win a scorecard the other two judges scored it a draw with one judge scoring it for Peterson..Every time I see Peterson fight I get more respect for Bradley beating him the way he did..
Now lets look at Khan's note worthy wins...
Maidana,Not a Champion(but a hell of a fighter)but this was a good win no matter how ya slice it..
Kottie,Champion and imo a very impressive win for Khan..
Judah,Champion and a solid win for him..Judah was coming off a impressive KO of Mabuza and was confident..
Paulie M was coming off a win against a career LW and before that was beat into submission in his fights before that..TBH I was not that impressed by this win..
When you look at it this way imo I see it as Bradley being more accomplished at the weight..There for being slightly ahead of Khan in the resume department..But it's close..
Ok I agree on some of that, but Peterson a young hungry fighter? Most fighters are hungry.
Petrsonmat the time was green as much as Dalits or mccklowskey is in terms of competition.
So Ortiz got 2 kd's in a 10 round fight. Are you saying Petrson won 7 rounds?
All I know from my memory, Ortiz won 1,2 and 3 with two kd's. That's 5 rounds right there. Sonfor you to five Peterson the 'win', he would have to 'win' the rest of the 7 rounds. Obviously of you say 6 then Ortiz would be given the other and it would be a draw. I will watch it again one day and confirm.
Paulie also was a good 'win' in my opinion. Yeah he fought juan Diaz, but he had the Inc until he got stripped. Again his wins are comaparable to witted and his loses are to Barton and cotto who are far greater than witters resume bar his Judah lost.

As far as Peterson,I can't compare him to fighters like Mcflurry and Salita..Even tho they were Green I agree with that Peterson has shown himself to be a different level fighter then those two..Even in his fight against Bradley he fought hard and pushed Bradley..I gave Peterson a lot of rds..I gave Ortiz 1st and 3rd rds,in every other rd Ortiz was out landed and Peterson landed the more effective punches imo...Peterson out boxed him, think about it with the two KD's in the fight he loses on all the judges scorecards..
I can dig that Paulie's only loses came to top level opponents, but he was far from his best by the time he met Khan..Not trying to tak anything away from Khan but I thought the outcome of that fight was there when both fighters signed the dotted line..But like I said before these two are very close in resume(I give Bradley a slight edge)and now Khan has gotten better as far as skill is concern..I like this fight even more now..
Also holt came off a sd 'win' other d hop. Who is not like his uncle Bernard Hopkins. I recall them being related anyway.
Oh and maidana had the interim WBA title.
You right I forgot Holt fought D-HOP mostly because it was a crap fight..Interim Champ is not being a Champion..It's almost looked at being a mandatory..Ortiz had the same belt but they never said and former Champ when he was being introduce when he fought Berto..It's because he never was a Champ before that..

If you said it was close before, and had Holt wining by an impressive ko and momentum, then surely the sd to D hop which was before Bradley takes it down, because his last fight no longer becomes slightly above?
I agree that paulie wasn't prime, but would have posed a threat on many boxers. He is fast and has skills, and could give anyone at 140 a good fight. But ok he wasn't in prime.
I still feel that witted was not above him in wins. Both been champs and witted has shown he was on the down. I knew he slowed down slightly prior to bradly, but I didnt know Bradley at the time and was impressed.
As for the Peterson fight, I will watch it again. I am not going by the judges cards here. Judges get it wrong, as you said you felt kottie beat Alexander yet was given the 'win' and use it for your argument that Alexander won...
I personally don't feel Ortiz only won 2 rounds. This is from memory and I certainly didn't think that petrson landed the crisper shots. He boxed cleanly late, but to take all 7? I just can't recall or see it and most i feel agree with me.
Also holt came off a sd 'win' other d hop. Who is not like his uncle Bernard Hopkins. I recall them being related anyway.

good spin tactics. everyone was shocked that some crazy judge scored the fight in hopkins favor when holt easily won the fight. and you fail to mention how maidana got a gift decision over demarcus corley in the fight before he fought khan. why do you think khan finally made the fight with maidana? because he looked like utter trash.
