Gamboa vs Ponce De Leon is Top Rank vs Golden Boy though so maybe they are slowly making Progress
also Canelo Alvarez (GB) vs Alfonso Gomez (TR) in September.

like i said, it was never really about TR vs GB.

SO TRUE! Also puts HBO in a great situation for the FUTURE, people focus on them losing Pacquiao...but Pacquiao is not going to fight forever and nether is Mayweather

once they are gone, Golden Boy AND HBO will be sitting at the Top with 3 young studs...but it is not just them, you also have Adrien Broner, Frankie Gomez, Gary Russell Jr(also could develop into a STAR), Peter Quillin, Erislandy Lara, Deontay Wilder(Wilder don't impress me much but if he does develop that will be a huge WIN for GBP) and some others that people are probably not familiar with yet

Golden Boy Promotions future is looking GREAT, Top Rank have their young fighters also but I think right now Golden Boy Promotions have the better prospects

Hatton is the same but he is still with GBP as head of ops in the UK.

GB has canelo, khan, ortiz, broner and the list goes on..theyre doing a good job gaining the interest of young talented fighters because they know they will have guys likeoscar, bhop and wink lookin out for them. Finally boxers investing in something for the better of the sport.

I don't think Ortiz has any more star potential than the fighters I named but that isn't my point. People can hate Arum and TR all they want, but with their stable they're always going to be an elite promotional firm able to make big fights for big money. I think to much emphasis is put on who is the best promoter. Top Rank, King, Golden Boy, they're all bloodsuckers who are gonna get paid regardless of how we feel personally. All of them have major detractors, but as fans of the sport we're not going to stop watching the fighters because we don't like the promoters.

Oscar tweets drunk and/or spun, and his tweets haven't gotten any more coherent or sane since going to rehab or getting help or whatever. The guy is a lunatic.
