i would want to be more conservitive with viloria and see him go up and fight hussein first and get in a fight that would get more rounds under his belt then the last few.i feel that roach is being successful in honeing vilorias skills and that a tough tuneup with the likes of a hussein before a arce would be for the betterment for him in the long run.he's so young.

yes the grea...i mean sureno i too feel bemuffed over the corrales lost.especially after the false hope that since castillo had to loose 3.5lbs in a day corrales would really have his way.boy was i wrong.

castillo won fair and square.he's the better fighter at this time.can't wait for the rubbermatch at 135.

It was an anticlimactic night. Hussy looked like something was wrong from the get go and that fight was over in 2, and Castillo landed the sharper shots and took Corrales out with a dynamite left hook that was a fight ending shot.

That card looked on paper to be one of the best in quite some time and in the end it was fairly uneventfull.

Corrales and Castillo surely will have to give it a 3rd go, because with the weigh in contraversy, it left a lot to be desired.

I think Corrales kills himself to make 135, and it seems increasingly like Castillo never had any intention of making weight, thus not draining himself. I wouldn't be suprised if he went away after his 1st attempt at making weight and had a gatoraid and a protine bar with the way he came back heavier.

Not to take away from what he did in the ring because he blasted Corrales out, but the whole night left something to be desired imo.

Its a shame too that JCC Jr is 23-0 and still will go another year on 6 rounders. What a shame.
what do you want him to do? he has no amateur background and is still only 19 years old!

I expected the Arce/Hussein fight to be more competitive, but I was still expecting Arce to overwelm Hussein again.

The main event was fantastic while it lasted. Both guys went right back at it, add the fact that one of my favorite fighters won.

In terms of the Corrales-JLC matchup, what can u say, i know it looks like ur a Diego fan but i wouldnt mind a third fight, both guys are warriors.
Not really, if you'd watch that fight again you'll notice 3 things that led up to a proper stoppage.

#1. Hussein was knocked down multiple before the stoppage.
#2. Arce was connecting with brutal punches, the second knockdown was a devastating knockdown.
#3. hussein was not being offensive in the fight at all, attempting to be defensive, and getting HIT WITH POWER PUNCHES AND THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO ABOUT IT. that warrants a stoppage, you dumb ****.

I agree with everything here. Stoppage in the 1st fight reportedly was ok but this one was falt inexcusable on Jeff Fenech's part.

Castillo-Corrales surprised me in a good way since I'm a big Castillo fan. I knew Jose won the 1st three rounds but I didn't know how long he could keep it up. Great KO but let them have one more fight since ppl are whining about a few pounds of water weight. Corrales was very classy after the fight...
