What were your thoughts on Castillo-Corrales II and Arce-Hussein II?

What were your thoughts of Corrales-Castillo II, was it as good as the first one? I can't really tell because I didn't watch it on tv but live, and I wasn't to close to the ring...

I was VERY dissapointed with Arce-Hussein II...I thought it would've been more competitive...

The Arce-Hussein fight was a complete disaster, Hussein's corner acted prematurely, Hussein should fire them all.

In terms of the Corrales-JLC matchup, what can u say, i know it looks like ur a Diego fan but i wouldnt mind a third fight, both guys are warriors.

Arce-Hussein II

I watched the fights at a bar, so I didn't really analyze them in too much depth, but I still enjoyed them. This fight was stopped too quickly imo. Arce was all offence and didn't let Hussein counter punch at all.

I agree with you El_sureņo, I was disapointed in this fight. I was expecting a slugfest, but it just came down to Arce applying a lot of pressure and Hussein having no answer for it. It was a great punch though, but I still think Hussein's corner was a little hasty in throwing in the towel. Had the fight gone on, maybe we would have seen more back and forth action and a more exciting fight, but as it is, it was just Arce putting on pressure and it wasen't that great of a fight imo.

Castillo-Corrales II

This fight obviously had everyone excited. The bar was packed and everyone was getting loud and excited for the fight. It started out just like the last one and I thought it was an exciting fight. It didn't have the drama of the last one, and Castillo was landing more often, bigger and cleaner punches. Both guys landed some bombs though and I thought it would be pretty close. However, after the first knockdown, I felt Castillo had a distinct advantage and he would carry it for the rest of the fight.

Corrales still had no answer for Castillo's uppercut (which he didn't use enough imo). But both got a little careless with their defences, which made it great for the fans.

All in all, it was a great night of fights, but Corrales-Castillo wasen't as good as the first one, and Acre-Hussein II left to be desired. If I would have ordered it, I wouldn't have been disapointed. Still, I spend about 30$ and I felt I got my money's worth.
