People seem to forget that Fury is only 22 years old!

He still has a lot to improve but he has plenty of time to do so. He is going in the right direction.

I dont think Fury is that bad. Sure he has work to do ,But he is young at 22, I think. Should fight a couple of more fights before Wlad to work on some thing but he has potential IMO.

        No.

Tye Fields wouldn't have made it through round 2 if it were him in there today.

Fields has poor technical skills and no craftiness at all. Fury, although he is admittedly a bit lacking in natural athleticism, is well-schooled and quite crafty.

People who compare Fury with Fields are just ignorant.

Fields actually punches a little harder but he's crap and Fury would knock him out in two rounds.

He has 15 fights, are you suggesting he can't improve? He doesn't look like a world beater, but he fought a smart fight for such a young and inexperienced kid. Give him some time before you pass judgement.

Well, you'd have to rank him in the top ten now, since he beat a top ten fighter handily. I still see him as a very raw work in progress, however. He's extremely hittable, has obvious stamina problems, lacks fight ending power (whatever Manny Steward said) and lets shorter fighters get in and work on the inside too much. I like his attitude though, both inside the ring and outside, and he displays a good varied attack that swarms and confuses opponents. He needs massive fine tuning in order to utilise his distinctive fight advantage and needs to develop a much better jab than that which he currentlt posseses.

Bottom line is I don't think he'll ever have enough power to be a real factor in the division!

If he goes on to prove me wrong, well then more power to him!

Well there's no doubt he's better than that guy I saw get slapped around by fat British fighters on youtube. Looks like Steward has the perfect style for the big heavies. It's frustrating though. We seem to be headed towards the jab and lean style of fighting at heavyweight. We need a shorter beastly inside fighter to change some things up. These guys just seem to not exist anymore.

He certainly learnt how to hold and lean on to his opponents from the klits.

He is very very young. Some don't even make their pro debut at 22 and fury has 15 pro wins already
