What Max Kellerman thinks about Jose Bautista, and how it relates to Pacquiao...

I try to listen to Max Kellerman's radio show when I can, as he is one of my favorite boxing guys along with Iole, Fischer, Rosenthal, and Rafael. I noticed some su****ions he has had for Jose Bautista. I haven't followed baseball in years, but apparently this guy has come out of nowhere to put up incredible numbers. What does Max think of this? Read for yourself on his twitter:

I, myself, think that someone is innocent until proven guilty. Max's comments do not suggest that he does the same. In other words, it seems as if Max feels that he has reasonable su****ion to think that Bautista is on PEDs. Now, I would think that it is reasonable to assume that the same can translate into boxing.

There is some assuming here, but I think it is reasonable to assume that Max has questions about Pacquiao's recent success. I don't, but I'm just pointing out what a credible boxing guy may think.

A credible boxing guy knows that wifebeater is just playing games... wifebeater doesn't really want the fight hence the false PEDs slander

As a Blue Jays fan, I have followed Bautista since his arrival to the team.

His year last year and this are surprising, but when you scratch the surface there are a lot of reasons why he has improved so much. Consider work ethic, improvements to his swing, increased study of pitchers, new manager, new hitting coach---there are lots of reasons, lots of pieces to the puzzle that come together to great a great player, season, or what have you. All of the reasons of nothing to do with PEDs.

Hurling insinuations that any sportsman who does something remarkable seems to have become the default position for people who are too intellectually lazy to do the necessary research and critical thinking required to adequately explain a great sportsman. People like Max Kellerman or Roger Mayweathers, (actually all the Mayweathers for that matter).

Once again, Max Kellerman tries to compare apples to oranges and can't even explain the apple properly. What a star.

man, if anybody is roiding its definitely bautista. theres no way in hell u go from being a bench player to being the best player in baseball. that **** is unheard of in a sport where u either have it or u dont. i dunno if he is, but his improvement is so frikkin unreal. he makes manny p. look normal.

I agree with your sentiment that most of these types of people are indeed intellectually lazy, but that's not Max Kellerman. He knows his stuff.

Roger and Floyd Sr. seem to be intellectually lazy to me.

Max is just showing his small knowledge of sports. He doesn't even understand that most athletes start gaining popularity at their later years because those athletes remained consistent throughout their careers.

Jose Bautista is the same. He remained average a not so great and not so worst player in baseball. Now, Bautista is just showing a little bit of improvement late in his career.

Babe Ruth played baseball from 1914 to 1935 that is a total of 21 years playing professionally. Same with Michael Jordan who played from 1984 to 2003. Jordan won his championship at 28 years old. And became a legend after that age. So, Bautista is now making noise because he remained consistent and now improved.

I give him a benefit of the doubt until the truth comes out. Looking at baseball the truth always comes out.

I haven't followed baseball in years, but is the bolded statement actually true? It's my understanding that it was a colossal improvement. We are talking numbers that are comparable to Ted Williams...

I don't think Bautista is on PED's. Reason being, because baseball has really tightened up their testing procedures after the Mitchell Report.

                  Boxing should follow suit.

yea, he doesnt kno wat hes talking about. bautista went from being a bench player to being the best player in the mlb. there is no wiggle room there. went from being close to being cut from a team to being the best in the whole league. do u get that?
