More times than not Wlad beats him. But not the focused, in shape fighter who showed up for Tyson. Douglas was extremely gifted, he just underachieved because most nights he didn't have a passion for the sport.
Buster with that mind set???would be a tough fight
Agreed.
His mom had recently died and Buster went into the fight totally bereft of emotion and any kind of respect for anything else. In that kind of mental blockage, it would be very difficult to beat that kind of fighter.
I think Buster Douglas on that night could have single-handidly taken out an army. He just was not to be denied. Any other night though, he gets worked by Wlad.
