Comments like these from Amir aren't exactly the kind of comments that are going to win your fellow Brits over. I suspect a few more just fell off after reading some of the dribble Khan said. The Americans may be being "friendlier" to him over here, but for the most part no one knows who the **** he is. Once they start hearing his comments like these ("No one else out there is fighting the best in the division. Only Me." OH REALLY?) and the self absorbed, dillusional over stated egotistical statements he continues to make, they're likely to turn on him for the most part too. In my experience the American fans like a fighter who atleast has some humility and doesn't overstate himself and under value others. I think it really says something about a fighter who is disliked by his own Country, and is looking to downgrade it by proclaiming that another Country is better to him then they are.

Khan sounds a bit delusional. The Brit support IS his fanbase. He's a mainstream star in England and he gets a lot of love. In America pretty much only boxing fans know who the hell he is. You shouldn't diss your fanbase. Without his British support he's a nonfactor.
