If you compare this with his pad work for Marquez (coming off an even longer layoff), the difference is stark IMO:

the differences in handspeed, reflexes, even his footwork/speed when Roger 'turns' him is pretty noticeable. But I won't make a real judgment until footage comes out later in his camp.
    alright, just clarifying things.

I actually was going to say something similar too when I watched it back. I think I may have been a little caught up in just seeing Floyd again but if you watch closely, he does seem slower, etc...

With that being said, we already knew he wasnt in his prime anymore. He's losing some speed, etc, but he still looks good. We wont know anything about anyone until the real fight hits. Even if you slow 30%, its still hard to really tell in the gym unless you are there all the time.

He's going to look fast even when he's 50 but you can see some suttle slowing. Again though, its the 1st week of camp and he's not going all out. He'll look faster later. He's also bigger now which is going to take away some speed. I dont mind it though. He'll just go toe to toe more like Mosley and thats great for fans

          Thanks for vid.

Man. He looks slower than usual. Pac, in his recent videos and fights, looks slower as well. If they square up now, it would still be ok. But 2-3 years down the line, only the memory would remain of what could have been a great fight.

what he was saying was true though, dude can take his shoelaces and they'd clap. but yeah it's good to see him back in the gym, getting ready pretty early for ortiz, can't wait for the face/off and 24/7 episodes

Duh. Of course he's gonna look slower and slower year in and year out. Apart from looked slower, it didn't looked like he was even trying hard.

smartest thing said in the thread so far. These guys must not even play sports if they couldn't tell he's just flashing a few tricks for the audience.
