      now that i think about it, do you know of any other race that eats champorado?

      i googled it and its called sweet chocolate rice porrage, but it only mentions the philippines.

        I think its just a Filipino thing, took Mexican hot chocolate and added rice (yea, cuz we never do that). BTW, if you can get the chocolate tablets, mash them up then mix em with oatmeal (I prefer steel-cut oats). Much better than rice IMO.

          hey that's not weird, that's delicious! Rice + coffee + purefoods fried hotdog = old school pinoy goodness!

              what i usually do is to prepare oatmeal with a little less water, then separately prepare milo with less than half the water with a little coffee and add the two.

              i don't evenly mix them cuz i want to eat them at the same time yet still taste their separate textures.

              i like the taste of some clumpy oats with milo/coffee.
