If you get Knocked down, get up and then fall down again, the referee waves it off. Judah should have been wiser to take a knee rather than jump up straight away.

Yeah, the ref made the right call. But I believe Zab was fine. He just got up too quick, like "no this ni@@a didn't" lol. Then his legs became noodles. He's a hothead. It's like if you fall hard and try to get up before anybody sees it. I still believe to this day that Zab would have won that fight....

I agree with that, but you also have to take into account the reaction the ref got from Zab right when he got up. We as spectators saw Zab get right up and stumble, but who knows what he told the ref? He may have said some mumbled stuff that immediately triggered him to stop the fight. Nothing to me is worse than the Meldrick Taylor vs Chavez fight, and as much as I think that was a horrible stoppage, the ref's job at the end of the day is to protect the fighter.

He probably could have let it go, although Zab didn't really help his case.

I have a problem in general though with too many refs stopping fights too early.

It might have been fun to watch Zab get layed out cold the next round, that's the only reason I can justify letting that fight go on instead of stopping it and plus a totally out cold Judah would not have been able to disgrace himself and the sport of boxing by chucking ring stools and attacking the ref. The best thing for him and everyone might have been Zab go to sleep...
