    Was the Judah-Tyzu Stoppage Fair/Good?

Im sure this has been debated lots of times, but lets go over it once more seeing as he fights saturday, Now personally i think he should have been allowed to carry on since the bell went, BUT saying that i heard it is a rule to stop the fight if the guy falls down twice, if thats the case i have no problem with the stoppage, Although i though Judah was putting on a Boxing clinic until the chicken dance.......

Most definitely. Zab didn't give himself enough time to recover from the knockdown, and when he got up his legs went spaghetti. He should've taken the 10 count.

If Kostya landed another bomb whilst Zabs brain was scrambled, he might have died, even with a minute rest.

I would've stopped it based on Zab's reaction. I always thought if Zab just took a few seconds to get the marbles straightened and then gotten up, the ref might've let it go.

        Who knows...

yeah but if the ref allowed it he would have had a full minute to recover, and he can recover we seen that from the Mabuza/Mathysse fight........

No it wasnt a good stoppage at all. You have to take into account who guys are also. Here's a guy who is an undefeated world champ and has never really been hurt. This is one of the biggest fights in boxing.

You give those guys the benefit of doubt. Atleast finish the count and dont just assume that going down twice means your horrifically hurt. Not only that but you also have to take into account how dominant Zab was in the 1st round.

You give him that chance. If he makes it up then you let it continue. All you have to do is stop it immediatly if Tszyu follows up well & Zab cant defend himself but you owe him that oppurtunity.

No doubt Zab is the main one at fault for getting up that quick but if youre an experinced ref then you should also recognize that maybe he got up too quick and then not wave it off if he falls again. Just wait & see how clear he is after that and then make a call.

Alot of refs say guys can continue then a few seconds later they stop it even before the opponent starts coming at them like the ref just did with Antillion against Rios. Thats what a good ref would do. See how the guy is 1st and then if he's still not right, then you can still stop it. Dont be head over heels

Zab cost himself that fight by getting up so quick. But I think he would have lost that fight anyways if they had let it continue. It just wasn't his night.

I would've stopped it too after watching Zab crip walk around the ring.
