While I agree with your assesment that a Roy should retire, I disagree with your take that a poor stretch after a fighter is clearly shot ruins a legacy.

Roy jones in my opinion something aint right in his brain! I re watched that fight and he could have easily won that fight by a tko ! he had tarver hurt in the 5th and the 11th but backed off to do some showboating chicken moves! I think jones thought he can win by decision. Why would he need a decision when he could have continued to punish tarver in the corner? Jones doesnt have the championship heart that other fighters have! he is not a finisher! he just simply doesnt have any hunger. He dissappointed his fans who have stuck with him for so long.

I just dont get it my mentality is when a guy is hurt, finish him off or hurt him more.
