    Augustus v. Ngoudjo

does anyone know if there's going to be any way to watch this?

and if emanuel pulls off the win and scores himself that NABF title- does anyone think it's likely he'll get one of the fights he's been gunning for? (hatton, mayweather, cotto...anyone big really)

I know he wants nothing of Mayweather, but he is calling out Hatton and I hope he gets a Hatton or Cotto fight but probably not Cotto because Cotto's people won't take the chance.

As crazy as it sounds, Augustus wants Mayweather just as bad as he wants anyone.

He was livid at his corner for stopping their 1st fight, and fired them all after the fight. He was holding his own, and he's the only guy to bust Floyd's face up like that. Floyd has also gone on record as saying Augustus gave him his toughest fight.

I think Floyd would be too mcuh for him, but Augustus has stated in several interviews that he wants a Floyd rematch above all else.

Well, when he fought Ray Oliviera on espn a while back, he was mentioning Cotto and Hatton's name after he TKO'd Ray. He knows he will NEVER ever get a shot with Mayweather again...

His problem is his record (which is largely bogus) makes him a high risk low reward fight for any of the top title holders.

I wouldn't say one fight is more or less likely than the others, I think none of them really want to fight him.

          ================================================== ===============

Emanuel, How devastating was the news you got this morning on your fight with Oscar Diaz not happening this morning by yours truly?

Man! I really didn't believe it, to be honest with you. Not that I'm saying that you was a lyer but how are you going to hear about it before me? You know what Im saying, that's the whole thing about that tripped me out, but I made a call or two and found out that apparently, parties of the opponent thought it best to fight someone else, right now and just keep me on the shelf. So, it's all good, as long as Im in the gym, the more time I have to work on things, you know, again when I get in there with Mayweather which should be in another two fights. I want to be truly, truly prepared so that when I meet him again I can't have no excuses, I ain't have to worry about the referee or my corner or the commission or nobody stopping my fight.

Does this (canceling of Emanuel as the opponent and replaced by another fighter instead) then alter your plans that you had on the time frame, that you had for the Mayweather fight?

No, not really. As far as I'm concerned I am two maybe three fights away to get in the rankings as concerned. I feel like I am, you know, championship quality, it's one thing to feel like that and it's another to prove it. That's what I'm trying to do. I have had opportunities in the past, regardless as how shady the options were, you know, last minute, this that and the other. That's all fine and good but the point is that I still had a chance and I did what I could with it. If given another chance, I'm going to still do what I can but believe I am going to be a lot better prepared to win, than I have been in previous fights.

          what are your plans?

Yes, we were going to see what's happening I got to fight this guy I'm fighting, Ray Oliveira and beat him and then talk to my promoter and see if we can get in line to fight either Ricky Hatton or Floyd Mayweather.

Is that who you want at 140, Floyd Mayweather?

I want Floyd Mayweather and I want Ricky Hatton.

No offense or anything, but is it just something about you that you always have to make yourself look right or better then someone else? Just a question....

I love watching Emmanuel Augustus fight. When he gets those dance moves going, he's a thing of beauty, but I think he's past any real shot at a world title. The only reason I want to see him fight on is pure selfishness. He's got moments of pure brilliance and is always entertaining.

I would say it's becomging increasingly more apparent that you have an ego probelm and don't like to be proven wrong.

It was easy to cut and paste those sections, and I even gave you the links to some great reading material.

I don't understand this increasing bitterness from you.

I agree, I dont think he's got enough going to be a real threat at top level. But Im a big fan of his and hope he does well. And he always gives 100 percent, a real fan favorite.
