Floyd has done something that Pacquiao hasn't ever done and it was the smart move: He came clean and showed TRANSPARENCY.

I've been saying it all along. Transparency is the only shot that Mayweather had against the Top Rank fueled media machine. Mayweather doesn't have the media guns that Arum has and he knows that. I'm almost sure that he has more evidence of how things transpired, but he won't reveal it until its clear that there is absolutely no chance for a Pacquiao match.

Its not what we wanted, but its a clear victory for Floyd Mayweather. We want the damn fight, but if all I can get is Top Rank exposed for being a media manipulator and Pacquiao exposed for being a media creation, then beggars can't be choosers.

If and when Mayweather defeats Ortiz, his next choice will really be a tough one. He'll have to go up and fight at jrMW. WW is all but dead outside of Ortiz right now. That's why Pacquiao chose to go down and fight a lightweight four years after it should have happened.

The funny thing is that if Mayweather would have fought Cotto before Pacquiao, a win wouldn't have meant anything because Cotto got wrecked by Margarito. Now that Cotto is looking at a rematch with Margarito, Mayweather could fight the winner of that match and win the jrMW belt to entice Martinez to meet him down at 154. Pacquiao is missing the boat. Fcuk him and his peasant cult. This is about boxing, not the glory of one media idol.
Fair point, but Mayweather dont need to " entice " Martinez, he just needs to ask.

Ahhh but Brother Uppercut ... where's the showmanship in that? Floyd is not a simple cut and dry fighter. Floyd's picked up a flare for the dramatic during his time at WWE.

Let's be honest: How much have you been entertained by a boxer(maybe 2 if you include Pacquiao) while he is OUT OF THE RING? I mean GENUINELY interested?

Its very possible that Manny is on PEDs. In fact, its seeming more likely by the day. However, its also possible that Mayweather has known all along, had proof, but has helped to draw the drama out this long to build up anticipation.

If that's true, then it was a brilliant move. The patience alone that it takes to wait out a clever gambit like that qualifies the brilliance.

I doubt that Mayweather would ever just walk into a fight as big as Martinez and just sign the contract. The drama is what shapes the legend, and the legend is ALWAYS bigger than the man himself.

Floyd has learned to use the drama to shape the shadow of the legend that he walks in. Even when perceived as arrogant and tawdry, his performances and demeanor after victory have shown him to be not only a gladiator, but a scholar as well.

Do you remember the movie "Gladiator", Brother Uppercut?

Do you remember what it was that Proximo told Maximus?

Floyd as learned to win the crowd ... whether they love him or hate him.

As I said ... brilliant. There is no doubt in my mind as to why Floyd Mayweather is the biggest draw in boxing history WITHOUT needing either King or Arum.

That's some beautiful **** right there my man.

Simple minded peasant. Don't you realize that many people pay $59.99 just to see Floyd LOSE?

Or is that beyond the scope of your peasant comprehension?

People want to see Floyd. They pay more to see Floyd than ANY OTHER BOXER IN HISTORY. Including Manny Pacquiao.

The proof is in the numbers. He's won over millions one way or the other.

Try and wrap your dog eating head around that.

Stalking Koncz and asking him if its possible for you to blow pac doesn't mean you personally know him.

Despite the concerns over James' background, this could only be beneficial.

VisionQwest will be audited as well.
If you think so you must be crazy. However i don't think you're crazy sdo you may have a reason not disclosed as yet. How would putting a jailbird in charge of your vast finacial empire be a good thing, when t's compteentely managed already by a know and trusted partner. Moreover one who was recommended to him by someone that MannyP.respects as much as he does Atum.

Do you think that Koncz's affairs are NOT constantly audited....???? In business, especially a $100 mill yearly business (I'm guessing amount) EVERYBODY is audited. Every business of ANY kind, worthy to be called a business has a person in a special position called a Financial Comptroller. I KNOW about these things believe me. He keeps tight rein (like with a horse...notice I use "rein" correctly, not "reign" nor "rain") on ALL financial matters, and has daily or weekly meetings with the directors. AND....on top of that they are yearly or monthly audited, either by their regular prestigious Company of auditors (like KPMG) from whom come the tax return documentation, or with spot audits at any time throughout the year...something like a bank audit, when the examiners come in without warning, at any time. This keeps people on their toes.

This Timothy James "Doe" guy seems to me to be a bit of a risk. Even though everything these days is a nornam risk, this seems like an inordinate risk. And, for one, I won't believe it until there is some proof, not Internet scandal site rumour.

BoxingScene became this long ago, I'm so sorry to have to say. I keep complaining about it, with no success.

No, I do not believe that Mayweather has any proof that Pacquiao is using steroids. I believe that he strongly suspects that Pac is juicing, but has no proof whatsoever. And I also believe that Mayweather's comment that he "heard rumors from people at wildcard" suggesting that Manny is dirty, could, be true..... but I am not 100% convinced about that either.

If Mayweather had any kind of proof, I think that he would have used it to force the fight already, that fight is past hyping.

Either way, the completely harmless blood test, or lack of one, is both the cause and the solution to the OSDT testing situation.

The issue could so easily be resolved if Pac were to be a big boy, like my lil fellow when we needed the results of his blood tests last year.
