At 200 I think he is or at least was anyway, I doubt there are 10 CWs who could beat him active today.

I agree, it was an outstanding win for Tarver, he looked good at cw..... but when I said top fighter I was not necessarily comparing Green with the current crop of cruisers, I was speaking in general.

Green is not a top fighter.

There are not 10 high quality cruisers.

The top two divisons suck.

Cruiser is competitive, but there are only two top knotch heavyweights and arguably only one top knotch cruiser.

No wonder fighters from the higher divisions rarely make the P4P list.

But fighters from the higher divisions rarely made the P4P lists even when they were stacked with talent. Lennox Lewis didn't get into the P4P lists until a year before he retired, and even then the highest he reached was #9, whereas Wlad has already reached #5.

I gave Green 2 rounds (7 & 8). I gave Tarver 7 rounds, plus the knockdown in the 2nd....so my score going into the 10th round was 88-82!!!

I did the math...88-84 across the board means 2 of the 9 rounds were scored 10-10!!! WTF?? So if Green somehow stayed on his feet after 12 rounds, the judges in Australia could've had a DRAW!!!!

Mundine is not a bum, he is a better fighter than Green will ever be.

Aussies dont like Mundine because of his mouth, and a lot of that hails from his days with St George. There is also predujice against Mundine because he is, as you said, an " abo ".

I was in Australia during the time of Mundine-Green. From what I gathered, Mundine's smack talk caught Green off guard. Mundine was making it a white vs. aboriginal issue. Green couldn't say **** coz he didn't want to create more racial tension. Then on the night, Green completely looked flat. So in my opinion, Mundine psyched Green off his game with his mouth. Mundine is a wannabe Roy Jones with a glass chin....kind of like the Australian version of David Haye.

yo i was rooting for tarver all the way. he schooled green. green had no answers and looked like a novice/amatuer. i dont really even like tarver, but i liked him for this fight. green ****** in this fight and couldnt even deal with a basic right jab, sraight left, left hook and hooker-cut(what he caught roy with.) tarver was trying to lure him in but was very basic in this fight. GO TARVER, BRINGING THAT GOLD BACK HOME.

Congratulations Antonio you deserve that great performance, you trained like a demon to get that 41 year old body to a magnificent peak, you didn't underestimate Danny, who could ?. No mate I'm a proud Australian but I say that you are THEEEEEEE MAN, I'm also very proud of Danny Green's whole GUTSY career and the bravery and pride which he showed in trying to defend his beloved belt. I know that Antonio Tarver will hold this title with the same pride that Green did. Danny Green had to work Very hard to reach the standard that he did. As in terms of pure natural born ability Tarver has it in spades and is twice as good as a result, Antonio is a BORN ATHLETE. WHY ? You mean you don't really like Tarver ? what's your problem with him ? Tarver beat Green because of his CLASS and my mate Danny is NOT a Natural like Antonio, he sacrificed everything to get where he was and has never had as good quality trainers (Lewis is good but he has trouble keeping his fighters) as Tarver has. You and other Americans should be proud of Tarver, I Know we Aussies are proud of a MAN like Green, did you ever win a Title ???????????????????????/
