  • What Happens To JMM-Pac-Floyd If JMM Wins?

lets say Floyd takes care of business against Ortiz but JMM beats Pac in a similar fashion to how the 1st 2 fights went because I cant see JMM stopping Pac or knocking him out.

Where would you rank JMM, Pac, & FMJ right now and what would it do to there legacy? No hating either. This is a real question. Would JMM be ahead of Sergio P4P or maybe even ahead of Floyd? What Floyd's legacy take a boost or would you feel that its still different then Floyd beating JMM. Would Pac's legacy take a big hit or would you just feel that he had another close fight with an ATG which isnt a bad thing?

That's just the thing though. The only way JMM will beat Pac is by KO. Is there is no way that is going to happen. If by some chance JMM outboxes Pac the whole way through I don't see the judges giving it to him. Reason being is that would take the luster off of the potential Floyd vs Pac fight.

But if by some small chance that JMM does beat Pac well I would have to say that would enhance his legacy big time.

It would make Marquez look A TON better, Pacquiao wouldn't be affected much, and Floyd's win over Marquez would look ridiculously better.

Sorry i'll have to ignore the "no hating" request, DLT. Because I have to be realistic of what would really happen if JMM beats Pacquiao, or even makes it a close fight like the first two.

Pacquiao falls off the face of the Earth for losing to a 38 year old JMM who's coming up two weight classes and was handily beaten 120-107, 2 years prior by Floyd Mayweather Jr at that same weight class. Talks of Pacquiao beating Floyd will die. And Pacquiao/Arum will stay away from Mayweather who is a bigger and better counterpuncher puncher than Marquez, and they will rather fight Marquez a 4th time.

If JMM outboxes Pacquiao or makes him look bad but doesn't get the decision, that will still take the luster away from a Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight.

What luster does Williams-Martinez III have? None at all, even though Williams got the decision. Lara was robbed so that fight went out the window. If Marquez gets robbed, Mayweather-Pacquiao would take a hit.

Floyd finds another reason not to fight Pacquiao.

Guess it a tactic that work for him not fighting Cotto, Margarito and Williams.

Stop fronting as if you would want Floyd to fight Manny coming off a loss.

well, floyd should be feeling sorry. he could have caught the big fish easily.

                    instead, jmm gets the credit.

it would just mean jmm got the balls by miles.

as for the pac/may, i don't want it anymore. floyd getting interested suddenly will further make him the laughing stock of the world.
