How Bad Has Evander Holyfield's Legacy Been Damaged?

I would rate him as an all time great that faded badly in the late stage of his career and didn't seem to know when to say stop.

he really needs to move on ...I am starting to forget how great he was and hope he does not get seriously hurt...he already talks really slow and staggered.Hang em up we still love ya and thats "The Real Deal".

when i think of evander holyfield, i think of his slugfests with bowe, cooper, foreman, holmes, and his gallant performance against lewis. evander is not only one of the greatest HWs of all time, hes a damn good man.

however, since fighting after the 2nd lewis fight, holyfield has gone 2-4-1, losing to fighters like john the bum ruiz, chris the duck byrd, james toney, and larry donald. no doubt these horrendous losses and performances have damaged his career and probly his health.

but i think of evander as a great champion, great warrior, great man, and a legend, regardless of how many times he loses.
