I'll believe the "apology" when I see it and hear it by Arum, not R. Donaire.
Anyway, "apologies" are only prudently constucted ambigouous comments from which the listenee can take whatever suits him/her, and cost not a cent to make.

Those who damage their own business interests over "apologies" because a hasty child was annoyed over a well deserved rebuke, don't deserve to have businesses, and if they have them, won't have them long, once their guiding mentor is gone.

Should we also assume that R. Donaire, apologised about her childish, mindless remarks made about Mrs. Pacquiao, with whom -as well as with MannyP.- Arum has had a multi-year, extremely close and fatherly connection. How would MannyP feel if he'd heard (as no doubt trouble stirrers would make sure he did) that Arum sat there and listened to unprovoked insults to HIS wife, without defending her??? Then we might be hearing all about a rift between Arum and Pacquiao......

I think there was a lot more to it, which may have been unrealistic demands from Donaire himself, which we will never hear about anyway.

Apology or not, I'm glad Arum put her a** in her place. She stalled Nonito's career with her bull**** demands and definitely gave him bad advice being his "supposed" manager. Apparently she can't decipher a damn contract. Imagine if Donaire went ahead with the May unification bout and lifted the the WBA strap from Moreno to claim 3 of 4 titles at bantam and a ring strap as well. He would be awaiting the Mares/Agbeko winner and probably FOTY.

Whatever it was, he meant that she did not dress in "good taste", which more or less mirrored what she had already said about Mrs. pacquiao, whom Arum was defending,....... as he should have.

unless i was given 5 million up front, f*** the money. he basically called his wife a whore and to stay in her place and money is suppose to make that go away? he only had 1 fight left to honor on his contract. do that and tell that scumbag to kiss your ass.

He may have had only one fight left on his contract...I bow to your superior knowledge...BUT his contract BY LAW did not expire for more than another 2 years, in mid June 2013.
