And, no Viloria does not have a better resume than Segura. Not even close. That's just silly talk.

Either way that's irrelevant to the outcome of a potential H2H match up.

Carlos Tamara, who I've spent a great deal of time with in the gym in North Jersey, told me that Brian Viloria was the better fighter of the two.
Dam asian i though you where a smart poster. So tamara told you viloria who he beat is better than the guy he lost to?

Absolutely, for whatever reason, Viloria tends to go up and down without explanation in his performances. Against Miranda, he was up, but against Romero and Nino he was down.

Even against Tamara, he looked as good as he had ever looked until around the 7th or 8th when he began to slow down inexplicably.

Viloria is just a hot and cold fighter. Has tremendous ability and power, but there seems to be these lulls in his fights that just can't be explained.

I'm confused, how does me relaying the opinion of one fighter who made his judgment of two fighters, not in a message board, but in a boxing ring, make me not a "smart poster?"

You can make the case for Viloria being the more skilled fighter though.

However, Segura is the more consistent fighter. That's why I would pick him to win.

But, there's nothing wrong in saying that Viloria is the better fighter. He does have skills so does Segura BTW. But, for all of Viloria skills he just to inconsistent IMO to beat Segura.
