Jones Jr. after IBF title fight with Clinton Woods

On SKY just now... Woods revealed that Jones has already made enquiries for a Woods bout.

Whether it will happen or not remains to be seen, but it's a clear sign that Roy isn't planning on retiring.

Roy TKOed Clinton in six back in 2002... but Woods has got better while Roy has got significantly worse. I'd be prepared to throw down 20mil on Clinton if it happened.

this is what i figured roy would do and go after one of the belt holders which is a good move.

    roy will beat him again.

woods is the same fighter but since roy beat him people say he ****** then.

that will be the case this time.

before you could say he ******, now you can say hes overrated when jones beats him.

this will be a good tune up for jones.

if i have that amount of points then i will definitely make any bet you want and ill take jones.

Honestly I really like to see Roy retire. But if he wants to fight, I think he should fight.

I just don't see any point in this. Jones has nothing to gain by it. I'd rather him retire than take fights like this. If he wins, wow he beat a guy he's already beat in 6. If he loses, holy ****, he lost to a complete ***.

I'm definitely ready for Jones to just retire.

Why, how many Woods fights have you seen since 2003 then?

You've only posted 20 times, but I think p4p you've spouted more ill-informed bull**** than anyone else I've ever seen on this site. I'm not normally this rude to someone I don't know, but you're talking so much **** I can't help myself.

(Note to others: see this guy in the Vitali Quotes thread).

Woods has become more of a counter-puncher and is training year-round these days rather than just six week camps before a fight. He also has a nutritionist on board and looked very good against Hoye, composed and accurate. He has improved.
