Why do guys with no real knock out ability, in a no hope position, and faced with the fact that he is the next sacraficial lamb, hand picked, with all the proven deficiencies, say "I'm going to knock him out"? Paulie said he was going to knock out Khan and we see what happened. Someone said Gomez was better than Ryan Rhodes, but in this case, they're exactly the same. An easy win for Conyello.

to think gomez was going to fight chavez jr,
should be a good fight, gomez comes to fight. i can see people already posting that a "bum" like gomez gave saul trouble and that saul looks more like a hypejob now (after the fight). also, about the whole vanes/alvarez fight, if saul gets gomez, hopefully vanes gets a half decent opponent too, he hasn't been fighting top guys neither. but yeah, i hope saul really tries to show what power he has in this one, i'm sure gomez will try to be in his face as much as he can...

I agree. What pisses me off is that it was supposed to happen last year on the Mosley-Mora undercard, but those blind judges robbed Rodriguez of a clear victory over Theophane and Canelo fought Baldy instead.
