Castillo's camp doctor Armando Barac has been suspended for slipping his foot under the scale in an attempt to lighten the load when Castillo stepped on the scale. After Barac was removed from the scale area, Castillo weighed 138.5 and gave up trying to make the weight. According the Nevada Commission's Marc Ratner, the infraction will cost Castillo 10% of his purse ($120,000). Half of the fine will go to Corrales, half will go to the commission. Castillo has given up on trying to make the weight

that would've worked had he been in New York. Hell, Castillo could've just quickly hopped off the scale like Gatti did vs. Gamache. Gatti weighed over 150 when he was supposed to be 140 at the weigh in for that fight. The books say he weighed in at 140 though.

oh I read it wrong on FN. I thought it was just $12 k. $120 k, yeah, that's a significant chunk. And you know Arum'll still take his cut from the contrated purse. So thats all on Castillo's end.

Holy ****, is this final, Castillo didn't make weight? What a ****ing party ******. I was being neutral but now, I want Castillo to get KTFO. These guys are supposed to be "professionals" and he couldn't make weight, WTF! Now, this becomes a non-title fight and pyschologically speaking, the stakes are a little bit lower, **** man!
