obvioulsy williams is the money maker and the major player in the fight, but the really dropped the ball in the broadcast in terms of telling the stories of both fighters

I agree but then thats why its boxing after dark. Larry Merchant would have done a stellar job on the broadcast last Saturday.

Well done, very classy letter. He wasn't bitter or angry, I would love to see a rematch but if not I hope he gets another big fight. If he was on a PPV I would definitely get it.

I don't know why people haven't discussed that more the cutman did a phenominal job it looked like it was about to get Vargas/Rahman status for a minute there, but he managed it very well throughout the fight.

Lara should forget about Williams. Lara vs Molina is the fight that needs to happen again and winner there should get a title shot.

decubas is not going to put 2 of his fighters to eliminate each other when they are both in the top 5 in the division. i hope it happens too though

Lara handled that perfectly. I already liked him as a fighter and now I like him even more. There was no reason to be insulting of PW, and he wasn't. The fight was a good one and I think he deserves a title shot in his next fight while PW should fight Molina if he is going to continue his career. I'd like to see Lara fight K9, PW fight Molina, then Lara fight the winner of PW-Molina to settle the score with one of them.

I don't remember between what rounds it happened, but I believe Lara's trainer said (in spanish), as they pressed on the hematoma, "Does it hurt?" Erislandy simply responded, "No." Injuries like that sometimes aren't felt in the heat of battle...too much adrenaline pumping. It might've hurt like hell later, though.
