I rank comedy is a key factor in my tattoo's.

I like George Groves whole lucky arm. And Ashley Theophane's Thug life - lol.

A tribal tat for me suggests you're a boring ****.

Maybe I’m wrong here but I doubt anyone can 100% prove that Shane, Cotto, Kirkland, etc were all better pre-tats.
I've gotten that vibe as well (fighters getting tats after losing a big match or appearing to be on the way down). You can throw in Margaritto and Berta on the list. Although in Berta's case his prime consisted of opening tomato cans.

U know I've noticed that too. I've always thought if u see a man getting his first "tats" in his 30's, he's doing it for a reason. And those reasons usually don't translate into success in the ring.

I hate hearing that ****, why should a tattoo have "historical" meaning just to be a good tat??? It's a ***ing tattoo, it's on ur skin and it's supposed to look good. **** like religious verses, someone's name, a "historical" symbol that looks terrible, all that ****** **** looks ***ing ******ed. If it s on ur skin it should look good, just because it "means something" profound or has "history" doesn't make it a great tattoo. How it looks on u is always the most important thing, if it happens to means something, great. If not, who cares? Unless u wanna be a walking Encyclopedia Britannica that is...

            Cottos tats look sick.

But Pavliks are the worst, all his new tats on chest and back look like they are meant to be full chest or back tats, but hes got like four of them shrunken down to fit, looks so ******

To me it doesn't look cool at all and I don't like tattoos period. At the same time I wouldn't disrespect anyone who has them.
              I agree 100%.

as for the thread, i can see what the TS is saying...regular people sometimes get tatts to symbolize a time in their life or a new beginning...perhaps those boxers get them for the same reason
