He hasn't even rematch Presscot who actually beat him, stopped him in 1 round and now has fallen off and is much easier than Maidana IMO. He'll never ever rematch guys that beat him/give him a difficult time, that's what i'm getting so far from him.

The guy he wants to fight, Mayweather, rematched the guy that gave him a tough fight Castillo, immediately. His bestie Manny rematched the guy who beat him, then rematched Marquez 4 years after their Draw. Amir Khan is, so far, showing he's really not cut out from the same cloth as a Pacquiao or Mayweather or De La Hoya, or Tyson, 4 of the biggest names in boxing from the 90s-present, Khan is not gonna make that 5 if he keeps avoiding rematches against guys who gave him hell. He can be popular, a big star in the UK, but in the U.S. he won't be that big. Rematches and trilogies often highlight a fighters career in the U.S. if they have no other big highlight, and IMO Khan's biggest highlight so far is getting stopped in 1 round by a subpar fighter. So he could really use a good rivalry against Maidana.

Fighters often say they will retire young. De La Hoya was supposed to retire before he was 30. Hopkins promised he wouldn't fight past 40 (not like that is young, but he's still fighting at 46).

They rarely ever do retire when they plan to.

Not that Amir Khan is an amazing talent but what the hell is wrong with these fighters today. Retire by 28...... That's your freaking prime. Who the hell calls it quits in their prime when they can be at the pinnacle of their careers and make the most money of their careers? First off it's a dumb idea. Secondly, no one in boxing retires in their prime and if they do they play a ****** run around game. Khan stfu, you're a fighter, not a damn spokesman. For being such a manly sport, a lot of boxers are pampered *****es.

Wayyyyyyyyyyyy different circumstances. Sanchez died, so it gives a little wiggle room to wonder what he could of done. If Khan just leaves the sport he will not be looked at in the same light and probably will look like a coward for doing so.

He will look really bad if Mayweather at 34 or 35 gives him a shot at 25 years age but Khan doesn't allow the same for another young and up and comer. Part of becoming a legend in the sport is defying all odds and that comes from being an underdog in the heat of battle. Not only that but it's a slap in the face of boxing and the fans for someone not to allow the torch to be passed. Oscar did if for Floyd and Manny, and it has happened throughout the history of boxing.

I wish he would retire...Sick of hearing his mouth. He does not love boxing if he is planning on getting out of it ASAP. It is very obvious he is in the sport for superficial reasons.
