Almost every other fighter cherry picks and ducks their whole careers, thinking their entitled to championship belts. Yet at 24 khan is bravely trying to face the toughest opponents. If more fighters were like Khan boxing wouldn't be such a joke.
He's already made a ton of money. Win or lose why should Khan care? That's just more money in the bank for him. As opposed to someone like Tim Bradley who is still trying to move up the circuit and get that payday that can secure him for life.

First Haye, then Williams, now Khan. What's up with all these fighters talking about retiring?

I believe in the Williams-Lara fight one of the commentators, I believe it was RJJ, when they were talking about Williams wanting to retire;RJ said when you're talking about retirement, then you're already mentally retired. Something along those lines.

So many fighters wanting to retire young lately. Hatton retired recently at 32 years old, that's very young, and even before that, he was already talking about retirement before the Malignaggi fight which was in 2008, talking about "If Malignaggi beats me, i'm gonna retire", then he lost right after the Malignaggi fight. Then Haye talking about retirement, and lost the fight after that[Wlad], Williams talking about retirement and lost his next fight[Lara]. Now Khan talking about retirement, but lucky for him he has an opponent that outside of a punchers chance, Khan really can't lose this fight. But the trend is, once a boxer talks about retirement, he loses very soon after that. I'm not superstitious at all but it seems like bad luck to talk about retirement. If Judah does actually happen to win, which I doubt it, I will bump this post.

He said he wants to be a p4p fighter, so ITS OBVIOUSLY not all about the money. It's so obvious most of you guys don't even read the articles you're commenting on.

And he could've made more money if he stayed in the UK, he came here specifically to test himself.

If it was about the money, Khan would've just fought Euro tomato cans with minimal risk for his whole career, while selling out 20,000 seater arenas.
Yeah, so why won't he contemplate on defending his rep IF he makes it that far? No opportunities for the rising stars like he currently is? Lame and he won't be missed if he does that.

He is not as ambitious as Pacquiao but his goals are up there. Mayweather will be close to his mid thirties by the time they fight so that will improve his chances.

Khan Needs To Focus On Giving Maidana A Rematch!

Like Leonard did for Hearns, like Pryor did for Arguello, like Mosley did for Dela Hoya, Maidana deserves a rematch soon. Don't sell me on how you want to do this and that until you compete like the Legends did before you. Like Tyson did for Ruddock. Like Ali with Frazier and with Norton, 3 times each.
