My advice for Cotto would be to do what he didn't do in their first fight. And that would be to work that body. Pound the **** out of it. For Marg all he has to do is fight like he did the first time and pressure the hell out of Cotto.
One thing I can say is that judging by a lot of the comments here and the fact that the fight will be in front of a lot of Ricans if Marg wins all hell is going to break loose. I can see it now.
Who knows? Maybe we'll have another riot like the Golota vs. Bowe 1 fight.Comment

It doesn't have the same aura of the first fight... Cotto might be 80% of his best and Margarito might be 60% of his best. They are going to fight at 154, which isn't remotely near Cotto's ideal weight. Only reason he went to 154 is because there was a title trinket on the line vs Foreman.
Shame how that fight cause both fighters to go downhill steeply. They aren't world class fighters anymore at their respective weights. If they were to face Martinez... they would get killed.
I hope that Cotto gets some payback but Margarito might very well be a broken fighter and quite frankly I don't think deserves the paydays he has gotten for his cheating.Comment

A number of things have convinced me that Cotto will win this fight.....
1.) Manny was 100% positive that Margarito knew about the loaded wraps
2.) Freddie was 100% positive that Margarito knew about the loaded wraps
3.) Freddie stated that when he was preparing Manny for the Margarito fight, he reviewed many of Margarito's previous tapes and Roach stated that he could tell which of those previous fights that Tony had used loaded gloves. He said the punch landed differently, and he named Cotto and Cintron, among others.
4.) A number of wildcard fighters have sparred Margarito, some say that he has no effective power, and some say that he hits like a mule. WTF?
5.) During one of Margarito's fights I watch his opponents head literally bounce off his fists, it looked extremely unnatural, the last two punches thrown in that fight made Margarito look like he had lethal ko power in both hands
6.) He fractured Rashid Holloway's eye socket in a sparring session, one of only two times that Roach has seen a training injury like that during his entire career
7.) Margarito has had no KO power whatsoever since the Mosley fight, he even had to resort to movement to keep Garcia off him
8.) Cotto will be extremely well-prepared for that fight, and doesnt look to have lost as much as Margarito
Based on the above, I am picking that Margarito's gloves were definitely loaded in that fight, so Cotto will simply not be facing the same Margarito.
Cotto beats a wrap-less Margarito UD12.
I suppose that I should put my money where my mouth is.

Oh, I posted about Freddie's comments previously and got swamped by requests for links, etc. I mean Roach's comment that when preparing Manny and reviewing the Margarito fight tapes, he could pick which fights Margarito used loaded wraps.
