    Lewis vs Rahman 2 was the real Lewis. Fame got to him and he was on Ocean's 11 or some **** and was gassing out in round 2.

    As for the Mccal fight, yes he did get caught, but refined himself under Steward after.

    Lewis could take better shots than Wlad, but his defense wasn't as good because he was a little more aggressive.

    Lewis maybe has less power than Wlad, but he was more aggressive and did hit people, with more angles etc... So he would take Haye out IMO.

    Lewis beat Holyfield who is better than Haye in all areas and are similar sized.

    Holyfield's technical ability could give Wlad trouble too.

      Very good reply, this is exactly what I was looking for.

      One thing I disagree about though is that Holyfield was so much better than Haye at the time Lennox faced him.

      IMO, Evander was pretty much done when he lost the last fight to Bowe, which says a lot about a motivated 'Big Daddy' and Lewis himself.

      The Evander Lennox fased was way more avilable to being hit than Haye was vs. Wladimir. Wlad would have knocked that Evander's block off.

        It is true that after Bowe, Holyfield thought of retirement, but I personally feel he had more then than what Haye showed now.

        You rarely 'win' a boxing match throwing less than double figures a round.

        Haye landed 70 odd shots according to compubox, and that is just too damn low. Lewis was relatively boring at times himself, but at his worse, I would imagine he still landed more than this.

        Another thing with Haye, anyone tall is trouble for him. Punching upwards takes power away, but even more so, it took Haye's explosivenss. As a cruiser, damn he had some excting fights, and Ruiz was pretty good too, and the guy who is rematching Tua (I forgot his name)

        However tall guys do cut his workrate just by being tall. valuev was a freak, Audley pretty tall and Wlad too.

        Lewis at 6 foot 5, hmmm, I can not see Haye landing enough for the KO. Don't get me wrong, Haye has power but his resume is weak.

        Haye does have a style that gives fits to most guys, but not Hof or possibly ATG fighters.

        Lewis and Wlad should be HoF, great resumes each. Atg, yep Lewis is in some peopss top ten HW atg.

          Competitive in a sense of losing a 118-110 or 119-109ish decision (like his performance vs Wlad i.e.) instead of being blown out early? Yeah, probably. If Haye does not want to get knocked out, he won't.

            No, Haye would not be competitive with Lewis.

            Chances are he gets KO'd.

            He has a punchers chance of course, but even that is still very unlikely.

              This is a ridiculous matchup. Lennox has all the advantages except for speed; he'd chase Haye around the ring and knock him spark out. About the only hope Haye would have would be if Lennox considered him so lowly an opponent that he didn't bother to train properly. But considering how he likes to hype himself up and piss his opponents off, I don't hold much chance of that happening.

              Lennox = ATG

              Haye = Herbie Hide mk.2

                Lewis would've stopped him.

                Seems like Haye doesn't have the guts to be aggressive against big, heavy-handed HW opponents.

                  I owuld say Wvlads power is as good or better than Lewis'. Lennox is clearly the bigger hitter as he beat guys more impressively and quicker ie Rahman Botha. Wvlad wore them down. Lewis dispacthed them with quick devastating Ko's

                  As for Haye vs Lewis. Haye doesnt have a chance but Lewis aside Haye was one of our best heavyweights.

                    I don't know why people says Wlad has better power than Lewis. We haven't seen it. Who has Wlad KO'd ... Sam Peters (garbage), Eddie Chambers (nobody/unproven), Hasim Rahman (post-prime/over weight), Tony Thompson (nobody), Ray Austin (nobody), Calvin Brody (overrated/nobody), Eliso Castillo (who?), Ray Mercer (old/washed up), Monte Barrett (below average), David Bostice (below average), and all the others are nobody except for Axel Shulz.

                    He is good but clearly not a heavier puncher than Lewis. Lewis doesn't have the best KO record but he did score some one punch KO's against better fighters that Wlad KO'd after waring them down.

                      Lewis would K.O him early to mid rounds.
