POLL: UK Battle: Haye vs Lewis

    My question is:

Would Haye have been competitive against Lennox Lewis?

I kind of think he would have been but you never know.

Haye has a mean & fast overhand right and Lewis was knocked silly by that shot twice in his career. So, you never know.

Haye landed cleanly on wlad a couple times and shook wlad up but never had him KO'd or knocked down. If Lewis and Wlad have similar chins then no, it would not be competitive. And if you rate Lewis's chin better than Wlads, than its really not competitive.

Lennox would have made Haye look like what he is, a blown up cruiserweight fighter.

Was he competitive against Wlad - hell no, there is your answer. Wlad is very comparable to Lewis, slightly more powerful though, but the result would be the same - a complete shut-out by Lewis or KO if he managed to catch him just right, which Wlad didn't do.

Lewis would punch his soul right out of him, no way it's competitive.

Lennox was splattered by two very well timed overhand rights by lesser fighters than Haye. That's my point. Haye throws a good one, therefore I'm not so sure he would get blown away by Lewis.

I think the fight would have been just as dangerous as it was for Wlad with the exception of Lewis being more susceptible to an over hand right.

He could have been sparked by Haye too. One never knows.
