gary shaw was even willing to take a 10% cut from the standard 30% promotors cut. . . that is UNHEARD of. bradley had HBO, promotors, and even AMIR KHAN bending over backwards just to try to get his ass in the ring. . .

but bradley is guaranteed a million dollar payday for taking the devon alexander fight. so ****, why fight somebody like khan for 2-3 million, when u can fight somebody much less dangerous for 1.1, AND THEN have a fight with manny for 3-4 million. .

i know timmy, as a man, has to look out for his wife and kid first, and the fans second. but the kind of money he was set to make against khan it gets pretty hard to keep defending on the basis of "feeding my family". . .
The funny thing is Bradley is the one who has lost out, He will be stripped of his WBC/WBO titles because he is not defending them, He is moving up to welterweight and because he is a pygmy I doubt he will win a title in that division. So his chances of getting a pay day against Khan are lost. Its just another cause of a boxer shooting himself in the foot or cutting off his own nose to spite his face.

You don;t want salesmen in boxing...you want hard-workers makin beautiful fights happen on time and regular. And when they make them they put their heart onto it.

What Mayweather is doing now is all good to see. Its great but its not what a man on the street wants to see.

I want a fighter who is gonna get that three fight a year, maybe two fights a year in...and Mayweather is too old for that.

He keeps taking beaks and resting.....so bad and makes the standard in the rest of the school drop cos they all get lazy ass.

possibly. but not necessarily. if he can get by one or two more opponents much less risky than khan, then he will get the pacquiao fight. bradley is playing a risky game by doing all of this IN HOPES of getting a fight with manny. in boxing you never know what could happen, though. so ultimately he could end up costing himself

nah he won't fight khan until after he seccures a pac payday. that's the whole point is NOT fighting kahn now. beacuse if he gets beat (which he obviously knows there is a high chance of), he won't get hte pacquiao fight.

bottom line: if bradley was 100% confident in being able to beat khan, he would have taken the fight. . . it all boils down to him NOT being confident of winning, and thereby not being able to secure a pac fight.

That means Bradley won't fight until next year?

i don't know, but he won't fight amir khan before fighting manny pacquiao or maybe floyd mayweather. he is dead set on one of these fights and he doesn't want to do anything to risk losing that chance. such as getting his ass rolled on by the king, the rightful king!

bradley will probably fight somebody like abrego again on HBO. maybe two more of fights of this caliber. the "risk factor" won't be high.
