I was about to say to an extent, but not in the way that the OP suggested.

Bradley punches a considerable amount and to suggest that he belongs IN ANY GROUP of guys that refuse to let their hands go is simply untrue.

He throws his punches well and regularly. He's not Manny Pacquiao. So the **** what? Not everyone fights the same. This idea that everyone has to throw 90 punches a round is absurd. Not everyone fights that way. If that's all you want to watch, watch a street fight and/or go **** yourself.

He's also not ducking Amir Khan. He's getting out of a contractual obligation to get more money if or when he faces an Asian fighter. Amir Khan isn't interested in fighting for peanuts and neither is Bradley. There's a difference between ducking and simply wanting a better offer.

If Manny offered Marquez 100,000 for the fight, Marquez wouldn't be ducking him. He'd simply know/feel he was worth more. Don't... be... foolish.

Over hear. we like to talk about fights and fighters, not what MIGHT happen or SHOULD happen.

Our fighters set up fights regular as clockwork and they do mess around with tests or any other shenanigans.

Thats true of most of the world, its more likely US blood or contact with american fiht fans makes a fighter into a diva like Mayweather.

First of all im shocked that there has been nothing whatsoever been said by the American posters on this forum about the flagrant ducking and stalling that has been going on by Bradley for not fighting Khan. The plan was always for Khan to fight Bradley if Khan beat Maidana and Bradley beat Alexander which they both did.

Bradleys apostles will bring up Gary Shaw, Timothy Bradleys problem with Gary Shaw is Timothy Bradleys problem with Gary Shaw I dont see why that should be used as an excuse to duck opponents. Whats all the more tragic is that American posters are normally the first and most ardent people to accuse others of ducking opponents yet are nowhere to be seen or heard when it comes to Bradley.

Its just another case of an African American fighter ducking an Asian fighter, Im sure we all know the most famous case of an African American boxer who refuses to fight Manny Pacquaio, Mayweather has set a bad precedent for other African American boxers: Just duck opponents that can beat you, build up a padded record, Drop PEDS to stall the fight, Drop rival promoters to stall the fight, Drop money to stall the fight, Then cash out in a big fight like Mosley by turning up to collect a payday and not throwing a punch or causing an upset like a good journeyman.

The culture of HBO hand outs and dole outs MUST end, What boxing needs is some kind of Performance related pay, You will find these African American boxers that don't throw a punch in a fight and cash out will be fighting like you never seen them before for their daily bread. The more punches they throw and the more punches they take the more money they will earn.

HBO doesn't intentionally set out to be in situations like this - but they have to end up offering all these extra guarantees and bonuses JUST to get some of the best american fighters to NUTT the **** up and take a dangerous fight. . .

i know timmy, as a man, has to look out for his wife and kid first, and the fans second. but the kind of money he was set to make against khan it gets pretty hard to keep defending on the basis of "feeding my family". . .
