Heart doesnt give you points on the scorecards.

Thats my estimation of Corrales. I like to watch him fight, but I think we have a slightly better Gatti on our hands.

thank you very much thats pretty much what i think.

hes got a ton of heart and i like his fighting style but he is not top 10 and sure as hell not top 5 p4p like a lot of people think.

he clearly lost to casamayor the second fight and needs to fight him again.

His heart does count alot imo because its what gets him off the floor, gets him in the mix again and most of the time getting him the win in alot of the big fights hes been in.
I dont think he holds a shot very well though and what fighter doesnt rely on their power when they can and have on a number of occasions come from behind to get the win. i rate him as a good fighter but i dont think hes top p4p material

I be trying to ride with you sometimes because sometimes and I mean sometimes you are on the mark about things, but like most times you are off, Floyd didn't beat corralles ass, he barely had a mark on his face, he just kept walking into left hooks, that is his weakness, he can't defend the left hook, but far as being overratted, who isn't these days, corrales is a true warrior, he can get knocked down a hundred times and will get up and keep fighting, and will most likely still knock his oppenent out...You can call it what you want about the mouth piece thing, but thatis the same to me ass a boxer running around the ring like a ***** and hugging and holding when they get hurt, its all about buying recovery time, everything is fair in love and war, and that figth was a war and like the true grti champ his is, he bought enough time to come bakc and knock castillo out, similiar to the way he is going to do this weekend, except for teh fact he will lay castillo flat well before the champiosnship rounds...

i agree with my mexican counterpart. people i think are starting to dislike corrales for the same reasons they disliked tito.

anyone else see the similarities. great wins - but people drag out little deficiencies to discredit them.

                  whats a better word?

i was thinking the same thing... overrated to a lot of peoplee means no good. That wasnt the impression I wanted people to think I thought of Corrales.

Well, if it's any consolation, Cotto's gonna have to endure the same ****. After that last fight, it looks like he'll always be a punch away from disaster

Same thing goes for Cotto. Im a Cotto fan but hes more hype than good now. By the way, Cotto has more skills than Corrales.
