I disagree that it was ever considered a super fight. To many people don't like the K bros. Besides that neither the K bros or Haye has world wide name recognition or appeal. You can't sit here and say that Haye vs. Wlad had the world waiting like Bowe vs. Holyfield or Tyson vs. Holyfield. Haye vs Wlad was no where near that level and those were true super fights. Haye vs Wlad was just the so called best heavyweight fight that could be made at this time.
My proposal...

i think 15 rounds might be an advantage to pac though. There is no doubt in my mind that when it happens the sanction bodies and promoter should make a special provision that Mayweather and Pacquio should be allowed to go FIFTEEN rounds in their fight...definitely...bring all fights of this magnitude, only the BIGGEST SUPER FIGHTS, back to 15 rounds...make them REALLY special...Comment

Well regardless it does point to the draw back of a 15 round fight for special occasions and even if you don't consider it a super fight a long awaited HW unification is special enough to do something different like that.I disagree that it was ever considered a super fight. So 15 rounds of anti-climactic inaction instead of 12?
No matter how many rounds it's scheduled for, I smell a dud.Comment

i'm expecting floyd to outbox pac and win rounds.
more rounds gives pac more chances to land a shot that can hurt floyd.
i also think pac has the superior stamina.
pac can fight at floyd's pace no problem but i think floyd might have a problem fighting pac's pace. (big if that pac can force his pace but still)Comment

The long delay in making the fight is to Pac's advantage. Floyd Mayweather is declining and IMO it's gonna show big time against Victor Ortiz, a fight which reminds me of when Ray Leonard "handpicked" Terry Norris and then got his ass kicked for his troubles. Either Ortiz outright beats Mayweather, or he exposes him as a fighter in decline and loses a close fight. The longer it takes Pac to get Floyd in the ring, the greater his chance of victory becomes.Comment
