Soto knows he's toward the end and feels like he's paid his dues and deserves a payday against MAB or Morales.

        I don't agree with it.

But I sort understand his perspective.

Rios has been calling out Soto and punking him for like what a year or so? Soto don't want any of that, I bet you he fears Rios after what Rios did to Antillon.

Soto did duck the Antillon rematch which could have saved the Pacquiao-Mosley PPV. So, he might be sacred of a harder hitting and defensively better brawler in Rios.

Rios is the new king of Mexico at 135. Soto is the queen!

None of the top boxers should be scared of Rios. They should be excited and up for the challenge. Rios is hardly scared of any of them.

Against Rios, Acosta laid the blueprint in the early rounds (speed, power, movement) but was unable to sustain it. Whoever beats Rios is going to be need to be a vicious fighter as well to match the intensity.

I think Soto knows he will lose at this stage and wants to keep his distance. Soto hasn't really looked the same since he moved up to lightweight.
