Rigondeaux: Ramos will regret winning that title.

Top Rank-promoted Rigo will now fight Ramos (20-0, 7 KOs) and the Cuban sensation has vowed to take the title belt from Ramos. “I stepped aside and let the fight go ahead,” Rigondeaux explained, “even though they ignored the fact that I was next in line. Ramos will soon regret that he won the title when we get it on.

“Ramos is a tough, aggressive fighter but those types of fighters suit me. I promise he will not have enough time to enjoy this victory because I will be taking that belt from him when we meet in the ring. My goal is to be the undisputed 122-pound world champion and I want to achieve this goal by the end 2012.”

If Ramos fights him he gets crushed. Rigo is the best of the Cubans, and right this second might be a top 10 P4P fighter.

I hope it does happen. Ramos was very fortunate. Rigo will annihilate him.

he won't regret, but he's gonna get his ass whipped if he dares fight rigo.

he might be able to avoid him a few fights and make a little dough.\

no one would ever regret winning a strap.

As of right now he can't even be called #1 in the division let alone top 10 P4P

He might be the most talented but Nishioka is the #1 at 122lbs

It may not be official yet, but the second these guys grow the balls to fight him he crushes all of them. On pure skills and talent he is top 10 P4P right now.

this will be a good match up. I do favor Rigondeaux, but I will not count ramos out. Ramos has one punch ko power, youth, quick hands and a decent boxing iq. Rigondeaux likes to throw lopping body shots from half way out. This can and will be used against him, sooner or later. If Ramos can time Rigondeaux with that check hook while Rigondeaux is throwing that lopping body shot from half way out, he could ko Rigondeaux. I 'm just stating one of the kinks in Rigondeaux armor. They both have alot of flaws, but thier speed allows them to get away with it. I dont want to see this fight yet. Maybe after Ramos have another three title defenses. I'd rather see Rigondeaux aginst The flash, Nonito donaire. Now thats a hella gud fight!!!!!!!!. Ramos needs time to mature like they have, carring the title only helps with confidence. Time, is what it takes to be fully prepared for the kings of that division.
