Im watching Williams vs Lara for the first time, and Im in round 3....

I guess so, I had it 9-3 for Lara....thought is was nowhere even close to draw territory much less a win for Williams.

There's one thing pretty much unanimously agreed upon. And that's that basically everyone scored the fight for Lara. Just with different scores.

I think that tells us pretty much what we already know. Lara won the fight.

i had it 8-4 lara. my friend had it 9-3 lara. idk how anyone could have scored that fight a draw or a win for williams.

i scored the fight a draw. if calzaghe didn't get that fake trip knock down in the 12th he would have lost.

I just rewatched 6 rounds of the fight and I have it scored exactly like H-Town through 6 but IDK if I will watch anymore tonight. I didnt score it the 1st time but I remember thinkign that Lara is sweet and I like the way he fights. I thought he won but after the scores were read, I wasnt in outrage like some were. I could see the judges feeling that Williams was outworking him but I still thought Lara won

Honestly the HBO Bias is so hard to overcome when scoring... I had myself giving Williams rds at times, but the complete biasness and negativity towards Williams literally guilted me into giving Lara more rds.

Thats exactly how I felt....

I would watch the round, and think, Williams was busy, and putting in good work.... Then HBO would talk about how bad he was hit and how he should retire, and then I would start second guessing myself.....

there were rounds where Lara ONLY LANDED 3 or 4 lefts and nothing else, but Williams was pushing forward, and was much busier.....

It was a good, close fight....
