I mean seriously this guy has DYNAMITE in both hands and has decent defense. Ward fights like he's still in the Olympics I could see him freaking out if one of those Bute Bombs lands on his ugly head, he would probably crack under pressure and get laid out like a hoe azz and running out of the ring.

Also don't even call bute a home town fighter if you're a ward fan, that guy won't leave oakland where his tiny fan base ( compared to bute ) cheers for his boring little "fights" (sparring matches)

Ward has superior boxing skills, but once he tastes that power I think he will get K.O'd.

I saw some bum come close to K.O'ing ward in like his 10th fight. Dropped him twice, ref had to save him. If bute lands anything it will be easy K.O

Ward took Abraham's left hooks and didn't get too bothered...Bute got sparked cold with headgear on in the amateurs (against a middleweight) and ko'd by Andrade (but had his own ref save him).

Hell,Ward and Froch has a resume that Bute jerks off over...Pavlik's win over Taylor nearly craps on Bute's list-lol-and Pav isn't **** at SMW!!!

Direll would be tough for Ward because he has the edge in speed, power and lateral movement. Ward has better ring IQ, mental toughness, the better switch hitter of the two and would school Direll on the inside as Direll doesn't have an inside game. a 50-50 fight.

I dont think its a 50/50 fight. Direll wouldnt have chickened out if that was the case. He knew he would have lost

You do have a selective memory. You seems to forget that Bute was saved by that Canadian referee in the first fight with Andrade.

You do have a point. I think overall Dirrell would've lost eventually considering Ward's so damn versatile and he is quick enough to get to Dirrell. But i think if anyone had the greatest chance of beating Ward, Direll i think had the greatest chance because of his attributes.

Bute doesn't impress me. Like one of the posters said, its easy to look amazing against lackluster competition. Ward DOMINATED a guy who defeated the 2nd best of the SMW division, Froch.

Froch stylistically has trouble with boxers who have good jabs(Taylor, Kessler) and guys with speed(Taylor, Dirrell).

Ward's got the best of both worlds PLUS He's a very good inside fighter. I just can't see how Froch can win this.
