Does Katsidis have a chance of Ruling the LW Division?

Katsidis needs to learn how to jab. His version of a jab is letting his opponent land a punch to his face. Not a quality you would want to have to rule any division.Comment

unlikely to be honest, entertaining and competent fighter, but if people can keep him at arms length and keep the fight outside and punch him until he bleeds, which is usually after a jab or two, then the fights over
its sad because he has alot of respect, but he'll need the right opportunity stylistically to win a world title or twoComment

Unlikely. He's been in some wars and it'd be difficult to get some of the bigger fights to begin with.
Still, at Lightweight, I might favor him over Humberto Soto and both John Murray and Kevin Mitchell. Rios is simply too strong for him and would probably end up knocking him out in the mid-to-late rounds. Marquez still beats him as easily as he did in their first fight. Minus the knockdown, most likely as Marquez is able to make incredible adjustments.
Hell, Miguel Acosta would have the speed, power and skills to beat him. I think a bout between Katsidis and Urbano Antillon would be a good fight to determine who gets the final shot at the elite level.Comment

I think this time he'll go back down to 140. He's 38, he can't be playing see-saw with this weight at this point of his career. Going up from 135 to WW then back down to 135, then back to WW, that's ridiculous he's gonna end up getting stopped for the first time by some hungry 135 pound guy. He should just get down to 140 if he loses to Pacquiao, if he wins he should go down to 140 anyways. He shouldn't be fighting WW's.Comment
