Is OST really necessary...?

To be honest, the way Top Rank/Team Pacquiao seem to be hell bent on avoiding this type of testing it seems to be more than necessary.
Even if manny was clean, he's making himself look dirty. When you ask the common person if they'd take a drug test for 40/50 mill, what answer do you get?
Ask that same person, what would you think if somebody declined or refused a drug test, what answer would you get?

Toney, Vargas and even Oscar did not have to magnatude of Floyd/Manny match up.
The sport is dirty, from judges to refs and so on. So a guy asking for better testing (Gold Standard) should not be looked down on.
I never understood how the media attacks cheaters, get on this high horse and make drugs a big deal. But when a guy comes along and wants better testing, they side with the guy refusing? Now that's a big wow, shows you how deep and dirty it really is out there.

This is what I think about OST, OST is being used to delay the Pac/Gay bout just because Fraud Jr is not ready for Pacquiao. As you know, this steroid bull crap started after Crackhead Sr witnessed Pacquiao kicked Cotto's ass. He can't believe that a midget like Manny can defeat a fighter like Cotto (that Gayweather ducked) easily.

The truth of the matter is Gayweather is scared of Pacquiao. Period

in the sport of boxing? Let me mention some fighters that were accused and found to have taken steroids like Vargas, Mosley, Oscar, Toney... etc., did they really have an impact for boxing fans to change the standard drug test we have right now?

With almost if not every sport guilty of having Juicers...wouldn't YOU, if u had the power, try hard to prevent someone cheating u?? Take MAY/PAC out of the equation...exactly how would u feel if u lost your lovely "0" to a cheat? Or your son/daughter lost to cheaters or even worse u or a loved one got hurt badly bcuz of it?? If u take out that little kid ish about someone being scared etc...its really a easy question to answer.

First off I kind of agree how OST started, but i disagree that Floyd wants to "Clean up the sport". Floyd wants "HIS FIGHTS CLEAN". He's stated many times "If a fighter beats him he wants it to be fair and square". So cleaning the sport is just a high horse move. (I think he'd like boxing to follow his lead, that may have been his big picture) but HIS fights were/is his main objective at this point

I also disagree about how Sr made this a big deal, nobody payed Sr any attention till Manny started refusing the tests (That's when the shyt hit the fan)
As for Cotto, i would have loved to see that fight. But do you honestly believe Bob would have put Cotto in there with Floyd? And if you do, at what part of his career?
If you haven't noticed, damn near every fighter Floyd was suposed to have been scared of or ducking has been Top Rank?

The hate for Floyd seems to drown out peoples use of common sense, it's pretty clear what's going on. But people choose to struggle with trying to make non sense seem logical.

Hear me bro, why is then Floyd all of a sudden started asking OST when he was about to face Manny for a mega fight? Why put up a roadblock that for sure Pacquiao won't adhere to. Why not ask OST when he fought Castillo the second time around or Zab or the 40 opponents he had before? Don't tell me that all of a sudden when he was about to face Pacquiao something came to his mind and start a crusade to start cleaning up the sport?
