he even build his mom a new house...even gives rice and food to his villagers during christmas/birthday.

vince is right, why would he left bobby out of the scene.

Dude, you guys are missing the point....BOBBY DOES NOT WANT his brother's money. He has so much pride and he wants to earn his own money. Think about it...if you and your brother was a boxer, would you beg for money..NO! You would want to go out there and show that you can do it too. Of course Manny would LOVE to give his bro some cash, but Bobby wants to do things on his own.

I would venture to say Bobby wants to stay hungry and he doesn't want Manny's success to make his life more comfortable.

If he stays poor, he stays hungry.

it's just roach's obersvation. he quoted he doesn't even own a stove, that doesn't mean bobby hasn't anything to feed for his family.
in some provinces in the phil., having a household w/o a stove is common. people use to gather woods for cooking, but it doesn't mean that his family is starving.

ya i guess your right life is different in third world countries it is normal to eat milk fish i guess. But Manny's own father sleeps in a shed in the back of his moms mansion he built for her that is cold, they say manny doesnt like his father much because he left his mom or something.
